Oh hell yeah! I loved this game when it was originally on PS2. No doubt I'll be picking it up for PC when it's released.
Just played through and 100% the first and second games on the PS2 again, hadn't so much fun playing in games in ages.
Was that a trailer or a Rammstein music video? Regardless, I'm stoked. Destroy all Humans was fucking sweet.
I've never played Destroy All Humans, but if the trailer and THQ Nordic is any indication, we're in for something good.
I can't wait for the woke folks to reee the second they realize that the aliens aren't picky about the skin colour or gential configuration of the hairless apes they're murdering, and trans-kin niggers are getting the zap alongside ytpipo.

I really hope that it's not just a straight remake of the game and has added content like larger maps, more missions and just greater variety of gameplay overall. Maybe even a stealth element? The first game felt a little bare bones back when I played it as a teenager despite how much I enjoyed it. Killing people for their grey matter got old after the first hour, honestly.

I hope this is not one of those games that gets announced and then disappear into the ether, I'd love to play this for old times sake.

One of the screenshots shows a new dash ability, and the description mentions a restored Area 42 mission cut from the original. Personally, I hope they also expand the areas a bit since they were rather small in the original, and add other new missions and side content.

Taking another look at the trailer, the town featured is called Santa Mira, which was not featured in the original. Just speculating here, but maybe this one will have new locations alongside the old ones, meaning that this might have even more content than just the restored mission.
It's looks so beautiful.
Finally some good news. I hope it results in a new game down the line with even more places and humans to slaughter. Looking at you Canada.

I wonder if this means the other games are getting remade too, and does this also mean that the abilities you got in games 2 and 3 are being carried over to the first game?
Well we are getting a Battle for Bikini Bottom remake. Honestly I usually hate remakes, but I'm really liking some of these vidya remakes as of late like the Crash and Spyro ones, and now this. They stay faithful to the originals and add more goodies instead of worsening what came before.
