THQNordic has announced that they will be making, in a collaborative effort with Nickelodeon and Purple Lamp Studios, a remaster of Battle for Bikini Bottom aptly titled: Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated, coming to the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam.
While not much is known, we do know thanks to THQNordic that it will not be one of their unannounced E3 showings, and the same goes for all other games that will be announced on their Twitter over the next two days.
The game will also be receiving the full Crash/Spyro treatment, in that they will be rehauling everything and adding in all cut content from the original games (including, but not limited to, the complete version Patrick's Dream level, an entire boss fight featuring a Squidward robot and much more).

On top of this, the description of the trailer, as well as its Steam page, has indicated that they will be adding multiplayer modes such as main story co-op missions, and a 2-player horde mode (online and splitscreen).
They've also decided to not announce any system specs for PC, instead deciding to replace it with this.
The release date is currently listed as "(When) I'm ready!". However, speculation and some minor digging points to a 2020 release date, with more details about its release to come at their E3 panel.
