Apparently the characters are supposed to represent Robot Master characters from Mega Man, which... Doesn’t really make sense.

This doesnt look like separate characters just the same one with different hairstyles. The only thing that would clue me in that its Megaman related are the ear circle things. That said the anime hair itself look alright.

It doesn't look that bad. The eyes may be a little close together and in general the facial features look a bit small in proportion to the size of the face, but it's not that bad.
