Three things that happened to you today - Good, bad or otherwise

1. The weather was spring-like for the first time this year. Warm and sunny!

2. People around me started cutting their grass. Lawnmowers, weed eaters and and leaf-blower sounds all give me anxiety so I listened to ASMR on my headphones to try to balance it out. Didn't work so well, but I tried.

3. Got a lot of writing and reading done; proud of myself!

1 - I woke up with my kitty :3 asleep on my lap
2 - Had my morning unchi and pissu then lit the fire and had my morning sesh
3 - it's slightly warmer in the house than the previous months maybe spring is finally arriving

1. Continued forcing myself to play Elder Scrolls Online ?

2. Drew some stuff I was happy with ?

3. Bought an energy drink I hadn't tried ?

It's more things I caused to happen than things that happened to me, but...

1. Taught my daughter about prime numbers.
2. Exercised, yo. Upper-body supersets. I'm gonna feel buff and stronk right up until I raise my arms to shoulder height...
3. Wrote on a couple articles. They're lookin' good so far.

After work, did laundry, accidentally spilled powder detergent on floor, discovered vacuum cleaner is missing a part, cannot vacuum now.
Spilled an entire glass of green tea on kitchen counter because of stupid interference from cat.
Read "Father Happe, Communist" by Cecily Hallack and laughed right out loud. That makes it a good day for me.

The good: My aunt is visiting my family because she has some pregnancy exams, she’s really nice and I got to hear about my cousins (I don’t talk to them since 2015).

The Bad: Two bees got into my room, got scared so I had breakfast away from them. When I got back, one had escaped and the other was “resting” on a pillow.

The Ugly: Got angry at my friends because I have a short temper and they were treating me like shit. Okay, maybe I’m a bit insecure and a bit of an asshole.. Yeah, I probably deserved it.

Got nachos.
Paid rent a day early just to get it out of the way.

Fucking weird day.

1. Ran into my high school guidance counselor for the first time since I graduated twelve years ago. She was walking out of a Starbucks at the exact moment I was walking by. I'm 500 miles away from home and she was here visiting her niece. The sheer odds of this happening are fucking astronomical.
2. Hit a golf ball for the first time in 2019 and it was fucking glorious.
3. The cheap home theater recliner I bought shipped.

1. Got a phishing email. Deleted and reported it.

2. Bought my parents lunch.

3. Heard an Ariana Grande song and wondered if she has any songs that don't paint her as being a shallow, materialistic bitch.

1) Hauled garbage to the transfer station. No lines. People aren't out working in their yards just yet.

2) Truck didn't want to start this morning. Finally buckled and bought a new set of batteries for it.

3) Cat puked on the floor again last night (she's getting old) so I picked up some really cheap wet cat food. Wait and see if that fixes it.

1. Tried out new commute shortcut to deal with roadwork. It looks to be a lot better than the alternative of sitting in construction traffic.
2. Drunk honey like a human Winnie the Pooh.
3. Gave a low tip at the diner-only had one one on me so that and change will have had to do.
