I actually did take a chance to look into her channel, and this is kind of what I've determined from it:
She's vietnamese (obvious) and has an absolutely terrible grasp of english (also obvious). The vast majority of her videos was either fruit platters she made fancy looking or seafood, stupidly tame. The three big videos that had people losing their mind were the ones involving cat, dog, and balut, which were done by request from one creepy dude who's clearly got a vore fetish:

There's possibly more from this guy, he's been spotted in recent videos getting incredibly creepy about it but I'd have to dig though all the impotent comment rage in her videos and I really don't feel like sifting through that autism.
What I can assume from the situation is the dog/cat eating is normal for her country but she was more focused on the fruit and shit, and the crazy videos were by request. Seeing as she doesn't understand any english, she figured it was fine and went on with it.
This was about a year ago.
Now her channel's popping up like mad because people been making a ton of videos about it, and all the focus has been on her eating the cat and the dog, gaining her views that I really doubt she was expecting considering she was making a lot of videos about melon art. While I can't condone the pet eating, I like to be optimistic and say her focus had always been trying to make fancy shit rather than just pulling the bucket of cheese out, dipping everything edible in it, and then throwing tantrums about how everything is terrible.
I don't think mukbangs should count as ASMR.

God, I'm so sick of Karuna.
I remember what happened a few days ago. Basically Karuna Satori started a smear on SouthernSoundsAsmr for wanting to distance herself from political matters currently going on. SouthernSounds basically said that she will not tolerate my political comments of any kind on her social media. Satori, being the justice warrior she is comes in guns blazing, screenshotting SouthernSounds’ post and claiming that SouthernSounds was very vocal about other political issues such as COVID in the past.
A few days later we get this apology video because turns out Satori was just talking out of her ass.
Come on, Sarah. Your audience might have forgotten how you crowd funded plastic surgery while asking your audience to buy Christmas gifts for your children, but we didn’t forget. You are no bastion of morality to screech judgement at others, and the “support” you give is superficial at best.

I saw a weird ASMR video recently where she's popping the moon's pimples. It's a little toy squishy moon with fake sticker pimples??? It was kind of cute when she put star shaped cotton pads on it though.
FWIW, bulimia doesn't tend to help you keep weight off, esp if youre eating sugar (sugary foods like chocolate and cotton candy, the digestion starts at the mouth, thats why cotton candy "melts" in your mouth. meanwhile proteins can't be digested in your mouth, so bacon can sit in your mouth forever but will never "melt"). my guess would be that she eats that much sugar, starves herself the rest of the day/a different day, or works it off with exercise.
