I saw a weird ASMR video recently where she's popping the moon's pimples. It's a little toy squishy moon with fake sticker pimples??? It was kind of cute when she put star shaped cotton pads on it though.

Her entire channel is adorable and the sounds are very clear and good. I don't mind the roleplay ASMR, and I enjoy this because they lack the pretentiousness and overstaging so many have. It's just silly make-believe with good sounds.

The one I left in the quote (something char, can't be assed to remember her name) is constantly shilling her OF and from what I've read it's not worth it - I think there were r/nsfwasmr posts about no actual revealing content, only stuff a step above what YT will allow. She also drags her boyfriend into her videos all the time, who looks like a sixteen year old SoundCloud rapper, and it's horrifically awkward.

Sidenote: I have to hand it to GwenGwiz - she went the OF route and committed, and it looks like she's pulling in pretty good $$. Hopefully she got into it because it was a money-maker, not because she had to. She seems nice and her videos are usually pretty great quality.

Edit: God, it's weird thinking that a few years ago, content creators were freaking the fuck out about being sexualized and insisting that ASMR wasn't a sexual thing, and now those Eastern Bloc girls with the suckers are literally deepthroating marshmallow ropes. What a world. Sound quality is pretty good, though!

I get their point - I remember people leaving comments on Heather Feather's stuff, for example, talking about how they used her ear-to-ear whispering as jerkoff fodder when she was reading animal facts or whatever, and I can see why that would be upsetting, especially because she tried so hard to be G-rated.

Were you around for the scandal when it came out that Maria made some JOI shit before she ever got big on YT?

It's just funny that it was a scandal back in the early days of ASMR and now it seems like every other creator at least has an OnlyFans and no one blinks an eye.

On the contrary I think it's par for the course. Most women who enter politics and discourse are doing it for attention and money, not because they have anything of substance to add to the conversation. Porn gives them the exact same high but with a higher profit margin and lower effort.

Have you ever experienced the feeling of "shivers down the spine" when listening to music? That's something I can't feel, but I've had friends who experience it. I've read that there may be a genetic component involved; I wonder if ASMR is similar.
