Who knew dwarves had such a great sense of humor about not only themselves but in general
Imagine if other minority groups had this same attitude
these are actual humans, able to think and feel just as good as you and me yet have to go through life in a world designed almost actively against them (In the sense that anything designed for human use isent made with them in mind)
That means all Public restrooms are a challenge, going to any place of business is going to be a challenge, flying on a plane is going to be a challenge
But at no point do you see massive articles on CNN or MSNBC about the how unfair it is that we don't take them into consideration when designing public spaces or making new "woke laws"
All it takes is something like this to show how paper thin the "world vs black's" in America is
And in addition I think its perfectly analogous to the gun control argument, I know I might seem like I'm not making any sense but stick with me for a minute
The CDC has shown REPERATLY that the number one cause of death for young adults 16-20 and 20-24 is motor vehicle accidents and its not even close, accounting for 45% of ALL DEATHS with the next closest being suicide at 18%. Without getting into how scary those 2 numbers are all by themselves WHY THE FUCK have we not seen a single march to change driving regulations or increase the stringency of driving tests?
If cars are responsible for HALF OF ALL DEATHS IN YOUNG PEOPLE than you have to ask yourself,
"why are the people on the news that say they care so much about young lives so much that they have to ban guns but not talking about the thing KILLING HALF THE YOUNG LIVES?"
Its about power.
If you don't have free access to weapons your an easier citizen to control.
If you feel like your neighbor might steal from you or rape your wife if he isent white then you are an easier citizen to control
Its all about making you feel as unsafe and alone as possible, The government is basically using abusive boyfriend techniques on the country as a whole, Keep them divided from people who can help and keep them away from resources to be independent
If you don't have a gun you have to rely on the government for protection
If you don't trust your non white neighbors you are isolated and leaving yourself and your fellow community vulnerable to being defeated in detail
I know its seems like a somehow made a couple dwarves' making light of their situation into an argument about the Socio-political landscape of America in relation to race and power dynamics but this is actually the type of shit that makes elites quake in their boots
When someone is able to joke about a very real issue for them in a genuine way it allows for a rare form of empathy. When you see a dwarf making a joke about leaving a job interview because willy Wonka was the guy running it, it genuinely makes you laugh. Not at the person for their deformity but with them for creating such a hilarious joke at their own expense.
And in most humans this triggers an immediate rush of empathy, you feel for this induvial for going through what must be a difficult existence but you don't pity or revile them the same way you might a homeless man because its remarkable to see someone own such a obvious burden in a cavalier manner.
I think the operative word would just be inspiring, It makes you wanna be a better person after seeing someone have it worse than you managing with such a good attitude
And originally I thought Id leave it there But, alhamdulillah, this is not Facebook or Twitter so I'm going to go ahead and make the full point

I was already angry by the mid-point in the video, but that last little "okay? okay," with the smug, shit-eating grin really pushed me over the edge. Yeah, there have always been fat people, but not to nearly the same levels as there are now. Cheap, unhealthy food has never been so readily available, and that, combined with too much sitting, and not enough movement, has made thousands, if not millions of people, balloon to unhealthy levels. Congrats on the diabetes, and increased risk of heart attacks, you fucking retards. "Oh, but how is it your problem if other people are fat?" Because they are a burden on the health care system. The tax dollars of my nation (fucking Leafland) go to providing healthcare for people who don't even give a shit about their own health, who are happy to eat themselves into a food coma while marathoning Disney+. If we took money away from caring for fatties, we could probably do a whole lot of good with it, but no, we have to give a hospital room to Big Bertha, who can't stop shoving twinkies down her throat, and drinks Coke like it's water, because she's just had her third heart attack.
