Look how much that "goodwill" from the "redemption" that he got by kicking a man while he was already down lasted him in even the short term.
It was basically a "Worst person you know just made a good point" meme just like when he dunked on that Stadia guy, and even then he didn't make a good point, he just preached to the choir but that's how the meme gets used by most people anyway.
