There is currently a case in the Supreme Court about a sex offender who was kept in jail for a year beyond his release date because he couldn't find housing and that it was unconstitutional. I know I've read news articles about homeless offenders before. You have to have secure housing before being released, but it doesn't sound like it's a condition of being in a registry in some states. Or maybe they were in violation, but hadn't done anything to get arrested yet.

Wal Mart is usually very friendly to people in RVs using the lots to sleep overnight. It's a pretty well known trick in the RV community. Usually they're older, retired folk using the lots, and they spend money in the store. The company has a pretty chill attitude towards it.
