Tips for getting back into anime -

I used to watch anime quite a bit but in the past 2 years I have only ever watched anime while with others when they invited me to do so (in person). Are there any good anime for getting back into anime after an extended period of not watching it

I tended to like anime that had lots of politics in their plots

If you like political intrigue and action, I've finally gotten around to watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and it's really good so far.

Even the original FMA is worth a watch honestly. Both of them have different qualities that make for good watches.
