Don't waste money on dumb shit for yourself. Do invest in dumb shit to get investors interested. You don't need $500 designer underwear, but a fridge magnet with your name on it will keep your name out there.

My own "get rich with a time machine" plan was to go back in time and buy up every copy of Action Comics #1.
I figured out the fatal flaw with this plan (aside from machines that let you travel backwards in time not existing): you return to the future and find that nobody knows who Superman is because you bought up every copy of Action Comics #1, which is, in the revised timeline, only notable because it sold really well yet nobody seems to have read it.

more than one income stream, as many as possible or reasonable. I have my full time day to day that makes me more than enough, I have side company I do when I can and my partner has as his day to day so really I work part time there when I can but he's doing it for a living, meaning I do well off his work.
Invest and pay yourself first always, don't mirco manage stocks etc, unless you day trade for a living.
Love what you do and be willing to do it when you hate it, if that makes sense. Good old hard work pays off.
Network, people with money real money, tend to have ways to help you and want to.

In all seriousness, get rid of clutter in life. Think about what you really want vs what you feel compulsed to but. Do you really want that shirt, are you going to use it? How about that decice, or that figurine? Figuring out what you will actually use and what you won’t even look at if you buy it is important for young people to start saving.
