I have a great story from TITP. I know it's probably a troll post but it still cracks me up. I didn't take a screencap, but I did save the text:

Honestly, I still can’t believe this actually happened… I was at a Cheesecake Factory, and I was enjoying my time out with my friends after we had gone to a movie. Me and my friends are very comfortable with our bodies, and we are all big ladies. We like to call ourselves the “Large and in Charge” gang, and we all practice HAES. There was six of us and we ordered four appetizers, because we wanted to try different things and share.

As soon as our appetizers arrived, MY DOCTOR was seated with his bitch wife right across from us. My doctor is extremely FAT PHOBIC and always harps on my weight before any other issue I may be having (like how I hurt my knees playing with my nephew). I put my head down and tried not to make eye contact. Just then I hear “SARAH, what is this?” as he gestures to our awesome blossom, plate of nachos, pizza, and chicken fingers. I was stunned and didn’t know what to say….. “but, but…. There are SIX of us, Doctor…. And….”

I paused to gain my composure. I politely reminded my doctor that I practice HAES, that I listened to my body and gave it what it needed during the day, and felt I deserved a reward with my friends. My doctor looked befuddled and didn’t know what to say…. I calmly told him that I’m happy with how I look, and am in love with my body, and that MY KNEES STILL HURT because the ASSHOLE refuses to treat me. This ASSHOLE only gave me a shit eating grin and smugly said, “well, with all the rewards, you’re never going to look like my wife.”

Just then, our entrees arrived, and the waitress overheard his comment and started laughing at us! I was so humiliated. I started crying and could barely enjoy my food.

When my cheesecake came, my Doctor had already paid and was leaving, and he saw my cheesecake and just said, “are you kidding?” and just walked away. I was horrified. I was so brave and courageous to still sit with my friends and try to enjoy my meal, but this pushed me over the edge. I ran out of the restaurant and got in my car. I was hysterical. I was crying for so long, but I was happy that my friends were able to sit and enjoy their cheesecake still despite that ASSHOLE. I didn’t want him to ruin their night too.

Just then, I hear a knock on the window. My heart almost stopped. I was sure it was that asshole ready to make another awful, hurtful comment to me. I rolled down the window, but it was a very attractive waiter from the restaurant. Did he want to hurt my feelings too? He said, “I saw what that asshole said to you… Don’t let anyone make you feel less than beautiful… looks like you forgot something…” and he handed me my cheesecake in a to-go box with his strong, powerful hands and forearm. I felt so happy. When I opened the cheesecake to have some, he had drawn a happy face in chocolate sauce on it and I didn’t even order chocolate sauce. Just then, I felt so happy and I knew that the asshole doctor was wrong. I’m going to report him to the medical board and get him fired.

On a slightly OT I'm amazed at the hate red so many tumblrinas spew out. Each of them seems to want to lash out and harm anyone who dares to speak against them. It's always "heh heh I emailed his Boss so he got fired" or "I posted his picture and name so everyone can harras him".

Truly, 4chan knows human nature. I guess once you hide someone's identity they show you who they really are. Or something. I'm pretty drunk right now and at the point where I think I'm a wise guru but probably sound stupid to sober people.

Losing weight is hard and it sucks. Know what sucks worse? Dying of fatness. I've seen that first-hand.

Thin privilege has always been hilarious-- especially when the people who complain about it are always the biggest assholes.
Thinking that being thin is the ONLY thing keeping people from liking you/treating you like a decent human being then there is obviously something else wrong with your personality rather than your weight.
I knew a very large girl who worked with me when I was 18- she would come to work with cheesy food, lick her fingers and actively talk to costumers while eating (she spat a lot when she ate too) also would touch products with her unwashed cheesy, saliva covered fingers.
she also constantly complained about her life then would hit on guys in a very obvious and creepy fashion and scare them out of the store
She would complain to coworkers say "If only I could lose weight, then guys would like me!"
I really wanted to tell her that her weight was actually the least of her problems but I just kept my mouth shut.

They don't ignore science, they cherry pick it. Which is worse. Everything someone asks them for, say, citations for their claims, they are pointed to the FAQ which is a collection of scientific studies, pseudo science, and things written by non doctors.
