I figured that TNA deserves its own thread to discuss some of its most hilarious and cringe worthy moments.

One angle comes to mind where Kip James (Billy Gunn) acts like a total misogynisic douche with really lame attempts to get heat by bashing women. TNA kicks it up a notch by having Christy Hemme confront him about his bullshit by...turning her heel. Apparently in the world of TNA treating women with dignity is something a dang dirty heel would do.

Anyone else want to share some great TNA memories?

Back when The Hulkster first entered into TNA and brought in The Nasty Boys, I recall people poking fun at him and TNA for bringing in the Nastys, and Hulk got uber defensive on Twitter, wanting to claim the Nastys still drew and were still relevant. Suddenly, during the next few Impact's the Nasty's were on, fans started popping up wearing those stupid "Nasty. I Am." shirts, and Hulk got all smug and was like "See? Fans still like the Nasty Boys", but then Meltzer found out they were just audience plants wearing the shirts.

Serotonin and Voodoo Kin Mafia were both pretty damn awful.

Most of the gimmick matches were amazingly overcomplicated, like Feast Or Fired. Although Feast Or Fired was sorta redeemed when Curryman thought he won a title shot at the Fired Championship.

Then there was that time they had the stupid giant orange cage and the guy couldn't get out.

It still boggles my mind how badly Hogan fucked over TNA, and even then they still wanted to resign him. He had zero loyalty to the company, distanced himself while still being contracted to them, put his daughter into a position where she was paid more than the entire roster, and flat out buried their talent, for no amicable reason. The Nasty Boys can draw but Bobby Roode isn't ready? Lol ok Hogan

Dixie got worked brotherdudejack.

Honestly I think that's basically been TNA's problem. Dixie's dumb and knows fuckall about the realities of pro wrestling and got caught between people who wanted to make a wrasslin show and carny fucks who saw another money mark.

TNA used to be so fucking good, too. The X-division was the best thing in wrestling for a while. Guys like Sonjay Dutt, Alex Shelley and Chris Daniels were the stars of the show, putting on entertaining, innovative matches.

Then a few years later we get old men in wheelchairs, cutting their foreheads up, and spraying cologne at each other.

FUCK THIS COMPANY.

It oddly enough all went to shit as soon as they switched from a strictly PPV promotion to TV. It's as though some idiot said, "okay! Here's our big chance! Now lets do the OPPOSITE of everything that made us successful!" And whoever was in charge of that shit went "okay, that seems legit."

And here we are.

I could have sworn there was already a thread for TNA in this board, but oh well.

It's always cringeworthy whenever they try to emulate what happened in WWE, especially historic stuff such as the Montreal Screwjob:

Then there was the time where they did their own ECW invasion angle years after WWE did it and shortly after they canned the ECW brand:

And then there's the point someone made in the general wrestling thread where TNA essentially kept recycling the same "evil organization tries to take over" plot the past few years. It surprises me that TNA is still around to this day given the events that occurred in the past five years. Looks like the cancellation in September will be it for them.

I tried watching TNA when it first got started; the matches were too fast-paced, just spot after spot and then they filled it with WWE rejects and legends who should've been out of the game. Based on the thread title, it hasn't gotten any better.

In another example of TNA fanboys just being obnoxious and making it hard to enjoy the product:

Remember about a year and a half ago when pics surfaced of *Really* bad house show attendance? Like, I'm talking a sea of empty seats? I remember when the TNA fanboys all chimped out and were going "OMG, THOSE PICS WERE FROM TWO HOURS BEFORE THE SHOW, IDIOTS!"

This, despite the fact that the pics were time stamped, and quite a few people verified that the pics were legit and were indeed taken while a major house show match was in progress.

A billion years ago Robert Roode Incorporated was trying get Eric Young to join with him, and so he had Miss Tessmacher try to seduce Eric Young into signing the contract. I was in the crowd at the Impact Zone as we gave no fucks whatsoever about watching the Dixietron, all was silent. Then I yelled at some particularly silent moment STICK IT IN HER POOPER and it turned out the Impact Zone carried voices really well.

People on Twitter are accusing Meltzer and Alvarez of making up the cancellation news, saying that they got paid off by HHH because they don't want NXT to be "competing" with TNA.
