Tomb of horrors dnd 3.5 -

So in about a month on January 5th I am going to run the famous tomb of horrors game. it's a one shot game that will take place at 8:00 am PST so post here if you are interested in playing. You can use a pre-made or an existing character that is level 9-10.

Great. Also, anyone in my current campaign that uses their current character gains a free level at the end. Of course, you've got to risk your character to possible annihilation. you can also use your current character and not gain the level, but you won't lose the character if they die.

It's an old school Gygax D&D module that's really uber hard to get through.

Most players collectively refer to Tomb of Horrors as a character meat grinder. The kind where if a DM is running it totally legit, you need a stack of character sheets to even get through it. Because of how quickly you die, and die, and die.

That's very interesting, but, huh, I was never much of a D&D player. I am most likely will get raped by the sheer difficulty. But I would like to try out. Just to see how quickly my character dies

O mang, I'd love to jump in, but I know TOH too well.

I have an autographed copy, I'd scan the bugger if I wasn't feeling too lazy to get out of this chair. I play in a weekly campaign (as "10th level floating head on laptop") with a group in Orlando, FL. The DM knew Gygax personally, and was working for him transcribing previously-unpublished modules at the time of Gygax' death. He's the second best DM I've every played with, following a dude that used to run a gaming store in a small town in northern Utah in the early '80s, name of Tracy Hickman. Hell of a DM.

Get with the times old man. Anyways, it's looking like i'll run two games that day. If you want you can join the 'altered" version, the version that is mostly the same but changed enough to kill you.
