Tommy Sotomayor, real name, Thomas Jerome Harris, is a black man who hates black culture... a lot. I'm really surprised he does not have a thread yet. He makes controversial comments about black culture on a daily basis, and points out issues in the black community through analyzing news stories and other media. He has a Youtube show where he posts long episodes whenever he feels the need to comment on something.

Tommy thinks that hair weave causes black women to go insane, and he's on a personal crusade to expose the dangers of "weave addiction."
This is a literal belief of his. He says the chemicals in hair weave causes women to become "terminators." Weave and other products aimed at black women cause women to become dangerous, stupid, and to behave irrationally. According to him, hair weave and black women are single-handedly responsable for just about every problem in America.

i don't really understand why op claims that tommy hates himself. he got a problem with the african american culture and judging by videos featuring his home/lifestyle he doesn't seem to live or participate in said culture.

This guy is a mild "Youtube Celebrity", who is basically an annoying, self-righteous black version of the typical "white guilt" SJW. He's mainly known for lots of clickbait videos like the ones below - usually centered on the theme of how uncivilized black people (except for himself) are, black women in particular, and how wonderful and kind-hearted white folks are for having to put up with these hoodrats for so long:

Not entirely sure of his backstory, but apparently his crusade against "black women" started some years ago when he ended up divorcing a black woman he has a daughter with and being sued by the state for child support, and also jumped somewhat on the MRA bandwagon.

He's also known for attracting a lot of other dramacows, and has apparently had at least 5 of his YT channels terminated by "flagging campaigns", as well as been in several "online feuds" with other YTs such as "Monty Woodgrain" and Tariq Nasheed - most of his critics are either white SJWs or black YTs who view him as a race traitor or "Uncle Ruckus".

In one of his infamous videos, Sotomayor invited former Senator David Duke onto his show (an ex-Klansman and member of the American Nazi Party), and even white supremacist David Duke himself basically told him he was a cuck who was selling out his own race for Youtube bucks.

My opinion is that the guy isn't simply critiquing black "ghetto/thug" culture, he's basically just a black version of some SJW redneck like "MovieBob" who talks about how awful his entire race or culture (except for him) is; and what he presents as the entirety of "black" or "African American" culture isn't factual anymore than some video of rednecks like the Westboro Baptist church is of "white people".

Not to mention that he claims to be some type of "crusader" for black culture, when 99% of his videos are just clickbait videos of hootrats chimping out identical to ones you'd find on websites like WorldStarHipHop.

The guy even invited white nationalist David Duke on his show once, and was even called out by David Duke as being a self-loathing cuck who sells his own race out just for Youtube hits. Problem is regardless of race, almost no one likes a cuck who's sells out their own kind simply for the sake of virtue signaling or Youtube dollars.
