He uploaded another Episode of his passion project. Funny how in the same timespan, Eddsworld managed to gain more views than this. Spoiler: it’s filled with Toms usual sense of lolrandumb humor

I want Tom to succeed in his passion project ONLY for him to not have a reason to return to Eddsworld. Fat cunt tainted a whole community banding together to honor Edd's memory and inserted whatever he felt like instead of doing what should have been a simple proceedure.

Ngl, I found this to be one of Daft’s worst videos. I understand how a lot of people here tend to dislike his flat line delivery and stale sense of humor, though I always try to ignore those issues so that I can at least gain some insight into the person or topic he’s covering.

Outside of the title and thumbnail being a bit clickbait-y, as he has barely anything negative to say about Tom and the board game*, the video sucks solely for just how much salt Daft expressed for The OddOnesOut (James) and his board game. At least half of the video was comparing what Tom’s game did successfully vs what James’s game failed at, despite having already covered his issues with James’s game in a past video. The only similarity between the two was that both games were made by popular YouTubers + have simple art styles. Yet even then, it felt a lot more like an opportunity to throw additional shade at James after calling him racist and such in his last video.

*I’m not saying that Daft should’ve hated on Tom in his video, but rather should’ve avoided waving around his giant hateboner for James.

Yeah it confused me too because he focused so much on James but barley at all on Tom during those sections.

I think this might be because Daft is still upset how James responded to his video calling James a racist for stuff he did years ago and James told him basically "lol fuck off," so now they are feuding about it.

It is still weird for daft to try and moralfag james for stuff like racist jokes and all that still when daft himself came to kiwifarms himself and even uses this site as a source despite people on this site have said way worse jokes about black people than james did telling some girl to say "for sizzle."

This same girl he used to prove james somehow was a racist had to have their statements read by someone else because she now no longer trusts any white men because james made a petition to make her say that phrase and that traumatized her..somehow.

I think daft might not be too far away himself from having a lolcow moment soon himself considering how much he is obsessing over james at this point that he even used someone like that as a source to prove james is a racist.

Like the muffin game kickstarter was made during some of tom's worst points that daft barley went over that is why the kickstarter had people demanding refunds and became turbulent for a time.
He mentioned the master post but not the other behaviors that nearly fucked the kickstarter over due to his actions.

To make a long story short, Tom hired Zach and Oney to animate cartoons for him but weren’t paid for their work.
After a lot of back and forth between them, Oney and Zach decided to just get over and and to never interact with him again.
A little time passes and Tom makes a weird video where he addresses the wrongdoings of himself and friends in the past, he passively takes a stab at Oney for having problematic humor. They fought eachother on Twitter; Tom standing to his point of calling Zach, Oney and others out for their style of Comedy and how it isn’t suitable for the majority of their audience, while the others called him out for taking financial advantage of his friends death (Edd) and making those cringey sex education videos about masturbation even though the majority of Toms audience are minors.
Tom realized he couldn’t fight this argument so he deleted everything.

I had the habit of following his videos regularly, specially Last Week/Month. It shows how up until the end, he blamed his depression on the massive weight gain (overeating and drinking). His friends death played a role in his depression, but since he was apparently diagnosed with severe depression and getting medication, he’s jumping back and forth with the blame. It’s not just Edd passing away, but also part of who he is. I guess he’s in the resignation part now, where he fully accepts his body and ticks.

i mean, I get where he’s coming from with this. After I personally faced a lot of hardships in my life, I decided to improve myself and my body, went to the gym and got fit etc. but for all the miles I ran and weights I lifted, in the end I was still me. I started to accept myself more for who I was, not who I tried to be or tried to fool others into thinking who or what I was. I‘ve gained weight again (though not to the extreme as I was before and definitely not the same as Tom) but I‘m focusing a lot more on feeling fulfilled myself. Finding new hobbies, exploring new things, that kind of stuff.

Even the little swipes he made at Tom were actually funny and well-timed comedically.

Matt can at least laugh at himself with the whole "vanity" joke which most definitely isn't accurate to his irl self, Tom had to make himself the hero of the final episode to save the two bumbling idiots he called friends from Tord.

Tom had to dedicate the entirety of the 2-part Eddsworld finale to shitting on Tord and going "I'M NOT YOUR FRIEEEEND" to a man who stopped talking to him a decade prior.
