Verlisify is doing something he has not only been whole heartedly against for so long in Pokemon, but also, is breaking YouTube ToS and Nintendo's/Pokemon Company's ToS.

Before I start, let me explain some things and some terms about Pokemon for those who don't know in the spoiler below.

Spoiler

Genning: The act of generating a Pokemon. This can be either something with an illegal moveset or stat spread (For example, a Charizard with Aeroblast, a move it normally cannot learn.), or even making a legitimate Pokemon.
GTS: Global Trade Station, a feature usually in most Pokemon games that let you find Pokemon or deposit Pokemon to get something you want (hopefully) from players around the world.
IVs: Individual values that go from 0 to 31 for the six stats, HP, Attack, Defense, Sp.Attack, Sp.Defense, and Speed. These values are unique to every Pokemon, and while two Pokemon can have the same IV spread, they can't have the same unique ID as another. This is an important thing to note.
Unique ID: Quite self explanatory. All Pokemon have a unique ID, a hash of characters to differentiate itself from something way too similar.
Wonder Box and Wonder Trade: Similar to GTS, instead of getting things you want, you can partner up with some stranger around the world, and obtain a random Pokemon that you may or may not have asked for.

So, what exactly has Verlisify been doing? Well.

Long story short: Verlisify is using HACKED Dittos with 6 IVs to the GTS and Wonder Box/Wonder Trade in Sword and Shield. Why is this a bad thing?
Other than his stance on hacking, this can actually be bad for players. Code 500 9013 is a code that revolves around hacked Pokemon. While they may seem legit, it seems that Game Freak has put in some rather incompetent anti cheat that if it finds out two players around the world are using a Pokemon with the same unique ID, you get this error that breaks Pokemon Home. There has been no fix, no update, no patch for this code at all. The best way this can happen is by SENDING one of these Pokemon through Wonder Trade and Wonder Box. And this is how Verlisify plans on doing it.

So... what if he hits some random person who is innocent? He says he's doing this to get back at people who made other PokeTubers popular like PokeTips, ADrive, etc. Because that doesn't sound like petiness at all. But also, that could be your fans too, that get hit by these 6 IV Dittos that you hacked.

This not only breaks YouTube's ToS since this is technically malicious content (because this can result in a nasty bug to break the game), and of course, the ToS for Nintendo's online services, Pokemon Company's ToS on Home, and Pokemon in general. Verlisify is the type of person who he has been trying to combat for years. I can't say "You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain", because he's always been the villain.

This isn't even harmful. It's a hacked tree with items of any kind that can be placed such as furniture, bells, clothes, etc. This is NOTHING new, and has been around since, safest bet, City Folk. Nothing about this hack is "destroying" and it's not even that bad.

Hopefully i'm not retreading old ground, but I think the funniest thing about Verlis's anti-exploit crusade is that it doesn't actually have any sort of value system. Rewatch the original Verlisify video about the star fragments on trees. He goes on and on about how bad it is because of insanely minute complaints that to some people aren't even a problem. ("People are spending hundreds of dollars to get these glitched trees" well, that just gives the fanbase an economic system that helps the community grow + help people of that community who might not have any other options in terms of funding themselves gain financial support)

Aside from the supposed "destruction" of these communities which is BLATANTLY a lie on Tony's part, He has no real ARGUMENTS against exploits. His only real reason for disliking exploits has nothing to do with the games he's complaining about. The whinging in any of his videos about hacks are insanely ordinary, have little argumentative basis, and don't change much in between the videos. He isn't invested in any of this shit, He doesn't dislike "hacking" in Pokemon for any reason related to the core ethos or message of the game, he doesn't dislike "hacking" in Animal Crossing because of anything related to what the game represents, he dislikes hacking because of his gut feeling when he sees it and the attention it gives him. He's a gaming grifter.
