Being an amateur game developer myself, I thought of making a short, legit looking 2D Sonichu demo and send it to Chris, or at least share it here as a joke.
It would play as a real genesis-era Sonic game to catch his attention, but after just running for a while, a cake would drop on Sonichu followed by Chris ass who would longly fart on it shaking the screen and splashing pieces of chocolate and not-chocolate all over the screen.
I began some basic recoloring work on a GBA Sonic spritesheet, and when it was time to actually add stuff like Sonichu's ears and tail and all that crap, I saw the work it would take just to fuck around with Chris and...reevaluated my entire life
The thing is, the way I was going to make it, it's not really difficult to do a genesis/gba sonic-like game, just requires more time than im willing to invest.
I was planning to use Construct 2 (An incredibly easy to use HTML5 game engine) with this plugin that easily allows to replicate quite convincing 2D Sonic physics.
So if any of you guys want to give it a try, you can take those tools into consideration (Specially if anyone here has already fucked around on Construct 2) and let me save you a couple of minutes by taking this already recolored sprites.
