At times like this I find myself thinking that, for all her faults, Anita Sarkeesian may well have had a point about the patriarchy.

I've seen less than five total shall we say. And I've been following speedrunning for FAR too long.
I think one of the reasons, you know besides the troons, is because women generally aren't as obsessed with trying to hold the world record in a category that only a dozen people even run. They generally enjoy playing games for the fun of it, not to prove how good they are and *cough cough* grow their e-penis.
Edit: The runner I remember is Beckski93. I'm pretty sure she's cis, but I wouldn't put money on it since I don't follow her.

Speedrunning demands too much autism and OCD to become good and women autism isn't the same as men.
The few women I saw spedrunning where real bad at it and unfunny as fuck.
Halloween always gets updated regularly with maps and cosmetics, bots arent as big an issue with dedicated servers and coordinated efforts from players, and despite only 2 employees working on the game, thousands of people still log on.
That said, trannies play Overwatch and Overwatch 2. Easier skill entry and more trendy points

I feel like troons sort of picked the quirky, arcade-ey hero shooter for their own as a whole genre. Maybe someone put out an article at some point calling it the anathema to the doodbreu CHUD military action shooter, maybe it just happened that it clicks with them, but they seem to try to claim anything along that vein.
On the top of my head, KungFuFruitCup and her group girls on fire are all women who speedrun.
There's also Essentia, a really OG SNES speedrunner who's now a mom of 5 kids.
Doesn't count at all, but Jaiden Animations did a speedrun of Cooking Mama for shits and giggles, and gotten a lot of eyeballs to speedrunning that game.

In some cases and at a certain point, unfettered access to the internet can probably induce trauma almost like sexual abuse. I've heard of people who grew up with zero internet supervision and who were also unfortunate enough to either encounter unsavory people online or nsfl/nsfw content, and it fucks with their mental development, ideas about normal sexual relationships, etc. In these instances, I'd consider such unrestricted internet access to constitute some sort of abuse, or at least akin to abuse in its traumatic effect.
