I agree with this. Especially how in 2021 the fabled "dysphoria" isn't necessary anymore. The silicon maskers seem to range between gay boys with weird fetishes to straight up AGPs. I think they fall into the exact same category as trans people but the key difference is they don't have the delusion or narcissism to claim that they are actually women, and demand the world view them as such.
Sure, they're weird, but at least they keep it in the bedroom and don't bring it into politics and mainstream culture.

I'm gonna assume a lot of people in this thread are women and lesbians so I just wanted to ask out of curiosity, did you only start shitting on trannies after they pissed you off personally and would you even give a shit about them if they just left you alone? Pretty much all women I've talked to have a set of similar and specific reasons for disliking trannies, none of which sprouts from "they're just freaks so I make fun of them."
A lot of it comes from trannies not just entering spaces biological women do not fucking want them in but also pretty much taking those spaces over, not just the attempts to date but the attempted guilting people into attaining partners and their general attitude just seeming to be hostile towards women whenever feeling even slightly slanted at all. What did I miss? I'm just trying to fully understand the justified hatred of trannies from women. I mean everyone has reasons to shit on them nowadays due to them literally being the harbingers of internet censorship but I don't think they're as much of a blight on men since gay dudes can openly say they don't like transmen and not get banned or their subreddit taken down whereas women can't do the same. speaking only for myself, I have a twenty year history in what could broadly be termed "queer subcultural communities", and I had zero problems with trannies until they started denying the reality of biology and the oppression of females based on that biology. well, more accurately I noticed about a decade ago that there was an undeniable social pressure on gender non conforming lesbians to transition and I had huge problems with it, but I pushed those away because I still believed in the concept of 'wrong body' based on my many years of experience and friendship with many trans people that I cared about and considered friends.
when the denial of biology started in earnest, my problems with the movement grew. and then I started researching. and now I hate, loathe and detest trannies, speaking generally. tbh there are some TIMs and TIFs I know personally that it hurt to sever ties with, who are sweet people trying to make sense of their difficult experiences, who really do try to conduct themselves ethically and who live productive lives. but it feels dishonest to continue contact when I now realise their identities are the symptoms of deep mental illnesses that are not being addressed, and that central to those identities are depths of misogyny and homophobia that I cannot condone. there are a couple of TIFs who will always be in my life, who may never know who much I have always mourned the death of their butch selves. in general though, I tend towards a more intense reaction of hostility to TIFs than the HSTS TIMs at least, because I experience their transition as a betrayal on a deeply personal level, which is tied into butch-femme culture and its almost total extinction. there are trans people I have known personally who it is honestly natural for me to refer to by their preferred pronouns, to think of them as their preferred gender. even though I know it's a delusion. I never had a problem accepting them in that way before it became taboo to ever acknowledge that it was an agreement made in courtesy and empathy, not one compelled in denial of reality.
I can remember back in the olden days there was this this little old wizened man who would come out to the lesbian clubs in women's clothing - usually an ankle length skirt, a longsleeved top, and a long brunette wig - and dance. that's all he did, was dance. he was just a little weirdo guy who liked to dress in women's clothes and go out from time to time and the only place he was safe to do that was in lesbian bars. by and large, no one had a problem with it. he never bothered anyone or tried to creep on us. he just danced. he was welcomed by the regulars, who would occasionally get into a dance circle with him, and otherwise left to his dancing. and it just really wasn't an issue or a big deal, beause he was never a problem and never tried to impose himself on anyone. now, not all women are gonna be okay with this scenario regardless of his inoffensiveness and that's fair. but this was long before the state of things now. I kinda miss those days.
thing is, I retroactively realise that things could only have gotten to the state they are now by virtue of this easy going acceptance in the past. my lifelong tendency towards open-mindedness and bleeding heartedness has been a terrible flaw in respect to trans identity. it has always been a mistake to affirm and accept the concept of trans. sadly. not least because of how it contribues to the suffering of trans people themselves. I am seeing the past with a totally different perspective these days.
as for Drag Race and Victoria Scone...
frankly she's just getting what's coming to her. OF COURSE the wokie fans (who bully and harass the contestants relentlessly on social media) were gonna come for her lesbianism. that's just a side effect of the entire woke ideology that is the reason she even got a chance to compete on the fucking show to begin with. drag queening should be an exclusively gay male artform. it is utterly pointless to have female contestants on the show. what does it even fucking mean? the whole concept of a female drag queen at all is ludicrous. drag has always been a conduit for effeminate gay males to live out the glamour fantasies they are otherwise unable to as males. gay males are oppressed for their homosexuality and effeminacy in homophobic environments. but under woke logic, all gender is drag and any single sex spaces at all, not matter the reason for their existence, are oppression of the other sex. I tend to instantly fave the prettiest, most feminine and glamorous queen, which was Crystal Versace that season. males are known for giving each other shit verbally, and this is part of drag queen culture as well. 'reading' diffuses tension and helps grow a thick skin. in the reading segment, the point is to crack a joke about the personal qualities, often physical, of the other contestants. Crystal cracked one about Victoria's weight, going for the obvious target as she did with every other queen she read. cue ten goddamn minutes backstage of Victoria explaining to the enviably skinny, stunningly gorgeous Crystal why it was so hurtful for Crystal to crack at her weight because it's so hard to be fat, eating disorders, once as skinny as you, etc. this despite the fact every fat queen gets read for her fatness on every single season and has been expected to laugh it off, because that's the point. and despite the frequent discussion of eating disorders and body image issues experienced by the male contestants in past seasons. Crystal - an incredibly sweet and actually rather timid person - immediately crumpled up and felt terrible, apologising sincerely, despite doing only what the challenge called for her to do.

Lady here, but straight. I got turned off by the Trans movement when MtF began forcing their way into women’s spaces.
All of my interactions with trans women happened in the late 90s and they never really seemed to believe they were women. Maybe they used the ladies room but they never pretended they were oppressed or dealt with random shit women did. they knew when push came to shove they could throw down in a way we couldn’t. There was also the fact that these folks were known factors in the community. They didn’t just show up and start hitting on women. Each individual had a chance to prove themselves and when they did, they were accepted. Just like any other person in any other group.
Now, trying to get into women's prisons? Women’s DV shelters? Shaming people for not wanting to have sex with them in the name of liberal values? Hell no. I’m all for letting them have a space to their own, but it’s irresponsible to put a guy in with a bunch of vulnerable women.
I was fine using pronouns and making sure you couldn’t get fired for wearing a dress. That just falls under kindness and common sense for me, but this is taking the game of pretend too far. So here I am.
