Trial of the Lolcow General Board -

Since the Side Ops board was particularly successful, and in hopes of further decluttering the bustling Lolcow board, I'd like to give the forum a place to ask the why, what, when, where questions instead of just who.

One of the problems with Blue Pill was that it wasn't clear what belonged there. Its official criterion was people or grouped dedicated to delusion, but really, that isn't what makes a Lolcow, and if you try to pigeonhole anyone hard enough you can put them into this category. I feel a very strong, obvious distinction between a person and the overarching themes to abnormal psyche can be made.


As an addendum,
I'm also considering that it may be a good idea to separate ambiguous clusters of people ("Musical Lolcows") from the main board. This would not include a thread like for Wizardchan, because that is a very specific group.

So if I get this right, Lolcow General is a board where we post threads not specifically directed toward a particular individual or group?

I think this is an excellent idea and should avoid clogging up existing threads with more mundane discussion.

I also agree with this.

I'd go as far as to say any threads not specifically directed toward a specific individual or group should be moved to lolcow general.
