Ahh, conspiracy nuts, lolcows with a long history. Back way in Ye Olde Times, when the "internet" consisted of ham radios that you made by mining the silicon and copper out of the ground yourself and forging them into electrical parts, conspiracy nuts were limited to talk radio, the local John Birch Society, and newsletters handed out in shady motel meetups. Nowadays, with the internet piped to everyone's house and the closing of most asylums in the 80s, conspiracy theorists flood the web with hysterical youtube documentaries and shitty websites, like Truth Solider.

As you can tell from the rambling wall of incoherent text and GIFs, Truth Solider is a melting pot of just about every batshit conspiracy theory out there, and as good as any site to start with when talking about batshit conspiracy sites. It includes everything from GMOs to "Ebola is a hoax" to "FEMA CAMMMPSSS" to "JADE HELM FARTBONGO WHARRR BIF CIRTIFICATE!!" to "CHEMTRAILS" to "David 'lizard people' Icke.
Apparently the guy who runs the site (I think) has some sort of feud with Facebook and internet trolls. Also Facebook trolls are paid by the government.

Yup. Conspiracy nutters are all rambling about how TEH GOVERNMENT is doing evil stuff. While in reality, most of the really scary stuff is done completely elsewhere. I'm not really concerned about what the (heavily regulated and serving the public interest) government agencies are doing. I'm more concerned about (vaguely regulated and heavily profit oriented) private companies are doing, because they actually have the means and opportunity to do some irresponsible things. Whether you really want to believe in that one or not, it is public and the military is hiring - several interviews have admitted this is meant for domestic use in case of riots, natural disasters, and so forth. It goes on to describe how to detain people domestically, via duct tape, reasonable force, and so on. Not to mention I'm actually from a state (during Katrina), where people were put into proto-versions of these camps after their homes and such were destroyed. So, not only have I seen these things, but I've spoken to people put in some.

Well, to be fair, with Infowars and Prison Planet, they're littered with ads because, well, they have to make money. Pretty sure Null could explain this - the farms run off donations and such. Infowars and Prison Planet do not, they're funded by advertisement, selling products, and donations (at times, they call them money bombs).

Infowars and Prison Planet have millions in traffic a day (take that how you will), but that's a lot of bandwidth, not to mention paying their reporters, bills, taxes, and so forth. They're a business. The advertisements on their site and radio programs are no different than if you tuned into a music station and most the time you hear advertisements for certain types of medicine, products, and so forth.

Every time Alex Jones skips a network break - that's over $4,000 dollars lost. Not even an exaggeration.

Even if there were plausible conspiracy theories out there, I highly doubt chemtrails would be one of them.
