I’m not sure if being up almost 7% after nearly a 40% drop is necessarily a sign that users are returning just yet. It could just as easily be that there’s been a greater influx of bots between them now flying under Tumblr’s radar and a lack of real users to report them.

I'm getting followed by multiple bots a week, which is worse than it was before The Purge. Wouldn't be shocked if most new accounts being made these days are bots.

March was the first time I decided to check back on my account there in months and its felt pretty dead. Most of the people who left in the exodus are clearly still gone. Some might be back from time to time to check on how its doing like I did but I think most of that increase is the bots.

I hadn't actually had major issues with being followed by porn bots before the purge, but now it's at least one per day.
