TV Shows/Movie Franchises That Need To Die -

What are some TV shows/Movie franchises you all can think of that have been going on for way too long? You know, series and franchises that are still around but don't have any life in them anymore.

In terms of television, I think someone really needs to pull the plug on The Simpsons. That show has been artistically bankrupt for more than half of its run time. Granted, that's kind of an obvious one but what do you all think denizens of the CWCki forums?

Scooby Doo. Seriously, Hannah-Barbera is riding this gravy train well after it's fallen off its tracks and stopped moving. I wouldn't even mind if it was actual mysteries or something like that, but they're all super predictable now and 8 times out of 10 it's the first person they talk to who's the culprit.

Normally I would say Johnny test, but I'm instead going to celebrate its recent demise. HOORAY!

FUCK THE WHIP SOUND EFFECT.

But yeah, any and all REBOOTS. Just stop it already, go for some original content. It's getting super annoying. (Although I could make exceptions for some old horror movie reboots, but so far they've just been ruining old action flicks...)

I feel like The Terminator has run it's course. In an age where autists and love shies are running amok and murdering at random a quaint little story about murderous machines just seems gay and unrealistic.

Here's another one for you guys: Disney Pixar's Cars.
Terrible story, even worse sequels and the fact that the only reason they keep making it is to sell more merchandise.

God, yes, I'm glad someone brought Cars up because it had slipped my mind. The first movie was kinda cute I guess, but everything that followed was shit. Planes was originally planned to be a direct-to-DVD release but they decided to make it a theater affair because they felt they could make more money on it.

I also think Family Guy is just not as good as it used to be, and it needs to be put out of it's misery.

They're trying to make it seem like Brain isn't Seth MacFarlane's fursona, which kind of makes me laugh. Other than that, yeah, basically any Family Guy past its initial syndication isn't really funny, people just laugh at it anyway because it's mainstream and the popular opinion is that it's hilarious.

Agreed, it was funny for about a month and then it got old.

Definitely in agreement on TBBT, I actually liked the first season (shut up), once the creators decided everyone needs to have a girlfriend it went south.
Obviously Simpsons for reasons that don't need to be explained.
2 and a half men should have ended when the kid was like 13. It definitely should have ended after Charlie Sheen 'left.'
I think South Park is beginning to decline, but it's got a few good years left.
Family Guy is just fucked up for the sake of being fucked up. Used to have a point though. Also some of the jokes that have nothing to do with the plot last too long.
Also Tosh.0. How long can fat/sexist/racist/unfunny jokes and YouTube videos can last?

Never liked Tosh.0. or other tv shows that talk about viral videos on the internet.

I'm honestly going to cancel my cable because im just wasting money for something that shows mostly shit.
