unfortunate implications = black guy wasn't put in pure saintly light therefore it might be racist
Redguards in TES have lower INT stats. RACIST!

really, INT in RPGs don't usually mean "intelligence" but rather handling of magic, and Redguards don't use magic as they see it as a tool for weaklings to avoid fights.

The forums are terrible, I've been there before and there's only a few people there that don't act like a 13-year old on speed. And the ones that do, let's just say that only the dA and Wrong Planet userbases are worse (and considering there's a decent overlap, that's not saying much).

The site, aside from the forums I have little issue with. It's a decent time killer and if you want to find stuff to watch/read out of curiosity, it's a good place to find such things. But even I'll admit there's problems with their content. It can get overly wordy. Some shows, movies and books have little to nothing about them. There's a few inaccuracies in regards to some of the tropes. And let's not forget the whole "Troper Tales" sub-section *shudders*.

I also admit that I'm a member, but I don't edit a whole lot on that site. At least nowadays, back then I did quite a bit of editing and page creating (mostly animation companies and some lesser actors).

The Xavier Renegade Angel says that the episode "Damnesia Vu" used Gmod at one point.
  • Deranged Animation: Cranked Up to Eleven and damaging the knob with "Damnesia Vu", the episode where the winners of a contest get their films shown in an Excuse Plot where Xavier goes to different dimensions to figure out his identity. Styles include:
    • Puppetry with Green Screening
    • Atari 2600-esque Graphics
    • Garry's Mod
    • Live-Action
    • 60's Style Animation like Yellow Submarine
    • Squigglevision done with paper and pencil.

fisrt off, they are referring to the similarly named "Damnesia You" and even then, there was no use of Gmod.
I even rewatched the episode to confirm this.
Maybe the troper has no ide how Gmod animation looks like.

A similar controversy occurred with Dungeons and Dragons in the 90s. With AD&D if you made a female character you would take a -1 to strength but a +1 to int (afaik I might be incorrect on the specific modifiers. It was something to that effect) and they got reports that women found it sexist that "female characters were physically weaker than males". Which eventually lead to every subsequent version of Dungeons and Dragons removing statistical differences between male and female characters.

Did those people even play DnD or were they those Moral Guardians who were trying to find something to poke at?

I guess Ithat it was really moral guardians.
Anyways, back on topic.
Here's a section in the YMMV of TES
“Stop Having Fun” Guys: Try saying you played a pre-made class. Count how many people jump on you and call you a noob, insult your intelligence, or for being "lazy". For that matter, it's best to not mention the lore if you do not want your neck broken in a painful way

Nobody really shits on you for not knowing lore, they will correct at best. but won't really shit on you unless you say something like "that's dumb, I want my elder scrolls to be more realistic" or making bold statements like "TES is the indirect sequel to fallout" or "Talos is Jesus"

*Jumps on you while calling you a noob and insults your intelligence for being lazy.
It's not out of laziness. I have made characters with custom made classes before.

The biggest reason why I like playing premade classes is I noticed whenever I made a custom class, I'd usually make the same characters each time over and over. Like I deliberately wouldn't pick specific skills and I'd always pick the same broken ones I was more comfortable with.

Picking a premade class though felt more like a self imposed challenge for me since I could play a class with skills I never used before. Like Enchant or Alchemy. Which encouraged looking into how those skills worked.

That first one's been kinda debunked, as the comics seem to point more to Calvin's behavior being more indicative of his mother when she was his age. One of the comics even hints at it. Don't remember if Watterson confirmed it though.

The rest. Wow, I mean I know WMG pages are full of stupid theories, but I think these are some of the stupidest I've seen.

The forums are dreadful and the people who post there are generally vapid, self-absorbed morons.

I think the recent SJW shit 4chan refers to is a backlash of sorts against the site's earlier days as a breeding ground for ~*edgy and controversial*~ libertarian types. There were people (usually also enormous weeaboos) who unironically argued for eugenics and racial separatism, along with a shitload of pedophile and rape apologists.

Nowadays it swings too far in the other direction, and you can't coherently discuss things like men's issues without the mods busting in and labeling you a misogynist pig. Everyone is still a weeaboo, though, and I don't think that part will ever change. It's like Andrew Dobson's recent SJW kick, superficial and insincere.

IMO, the funniest and most cringe-inducing parts of the site are some users' contributor pages. There's a trend of putting tropes that describe yourself or your life on your page as though you were a piece of media or fictional character. Harmless enough, right? Well...

And this is just a small cross-section of this guy's self-applied tropes. Here's the rest.

EDIT: I realize now, looking back, that part of this post was rather powerlevel-y. I have henceforth redacted it.

I frequent the site and actually do use the forums, though I only really stick around because I'm part of a forum roleplay. I completely agree, though, the forums are dreadful and the people who post there are generally vapid, self-absorbed morons.

That would be implying that all SJWs aren't superficial and insincere already.
