It's practically wikipedia's inbred little brother that smokes its own dung. Any inherent value it had as an encyclopedia (which it was intended to be from the start) for media tropes and idioms has sunk.
By my estimates, I'll give it five years before they either sell it, or shut down.
Edit: Plus, there's adblock. How many times have they put up that completely useless disclaimer to have visitors turn it off? Not only are they getting less traffic, but less revenue.

I fucking love that little disclaimer. It keeps track of the number of pages you visit with ad block on. I have no idea why they'd think putting that there was a good idea, because it turns into a little game seeing how high of a score you can get before it resets. (Mines glitched for a couple months once and I ended up somewhere in the 3000s.)
Over 3000 times that TVT didn't get any of those sweet, sweet ad bucks.
Seriously, I don't even know how or why people even go there anymore. Granted, I was addicted to it once upon a time for information, but after a constant deluge of editing wars and being told basically to go fuck myself if I thought Aaron Ehasz needed more recognition for AtLA than those retarded duo Bryke, that was the last straw.
I'm reminded of Demolition Man where those robots that keep track of you cussing basically do nothing but tell you to stop it or pay a fine. A fine; mind you, that likely isn't even enforced considering how emancipated that society is supposed to be.
You have to clarify that the collaborators were just as vile as the Germans, especially the Ustase and the Iron Guard. The Ukrainian hiwis gleefully slaughtering their countrymen at the behest of Germany were another lowlight.

I go there to get spoilers on new stuff, because I'd rather know plot beforehands. Avoiding talk, forums and literally everything but main pages helps...tho I still ran into certain reminders while viewing page histories

Especially for someone like me who just wants to read the autistic slap fights that go on in the edit history/discussion page. It takes a minimum of 5‐6 clicks to get anywhere, so the inflated number just emphasizes how clunky the site is.
