Twitch Plays Pokémon is a Twitch channel that streams play-throughs of modded versions of Pokémon games, where the viewers control the game by commenting button presses. The stream went live on February 13, 2014 at 01:23:18 GMT. The stream peaked at around 120,000 viewers during its first playthrough, and has been the most viewed live Twitch stream for periods of time.

Here's the summary of the 1st day so far in the Pokemon Red 1st Anniversary Edition. Please let me know if I made any mistakes.

• Game starts with our character named as "AIIIAAB" (popularly known as Abe or Abraham Lincoln by fans), with rival name as "Blue". Starter chosen was a Charmander with no nickname. Lost to Blue in the first battle.
• Lost to Pikachu in Route 1. This event was popularly known as Pikachu being the gatekeeper.
• Picked up a Pokeball in Viridian Forest and used it to catch.... a Level 6 Kakuna which only learned Harden.
• Charmander finally evolved to a Charmeleon after 2-3 attempts.
  
• After several attempts and many tries, switching back and forth between Pewter City and Viridian City, battling against Brock or Mr. Lightyear, Blue was defeated in Route 22.
• Money won was used to buy a Pokeball, used to try to catch a female Nidoran but failed.
• After several attempts, Mr. Lightyear was defeated. Unlike the original he had a Kabuto and an Omanyte.
• Used the money to buy a Pokeball and caught a Level 6 Poliwag.
• After 9 tries, Brock was defeated. He had an Onix and an Aerodactyl which learned Rock Slide.
• Another Poliwag was caught which was a Level 5 one, and meanwhile Kabuto was deposited and withdrawn from the PC several times.

TEAM AFTER FIRST DAY: 2 Poliwags, 1 Charmeleon, 1 Kakuna

2nd day is over, here's the summary:

• A Magikarp was bought, nicknamed as BBAABaaa (I like to call it Sheep Magikarp)
• Charmeleon evolved to Charizard. Worth mentioning that they are popularly known as Growlmeleon or Growlizard since they use the moves "Growl" very often.
• More Pokemon are caught: A Pidgey, a Mankey nicknamed as "AAAAAJJAAJ" (commonly known as AJ or the Mexican Mankey), an Onix, a Krabby nicknamed as "ZPkPk r yyz" (commonly known as the beatbox Krabby)
• Dome Fossil was chosen in Mount Moon
• Two Pokemon were released from the PC: A Pidgey and the second Poliwag (commonly known as "Trolliwag", the first Poliwag was known as "Poliswag")
• Meanwhile, several stuff were withdrawn and deposited several times in the PC which include a Town Map and a Charizard.
• Blue was defeated in Nugget Bridge in 3 attempts.

3rd day (partial and sort-of) summary:

• Got the SS Ticket from Bill
• Beat Misty after 19 tries. She had a Lapras and Starmie for this version. You'll be surprised which Pokemon actually beat Starmie.

  It's a Magikarp. Seriously.
• Caught a bunch of Digletts, a Paras, a Fearow and a Poliwhirl.
• Got the Old Rod.

Kakuna, Venonat, Poliswag, Charizard, Magikarp, Mr Krabs, Jynx (6 hours after they got it), Paras, Fearow, and 5 Diglett were all released in the same time frame. Their current party is an Onix and 3 more Diglett, and they're in Cerulean City.

• Caught a Venonat, Weepinbell, another Paras and... yes, more Digletts. (One notable one is nicknamed as JJJJtttllu, which is commonly referred to as "Jet Lu"/"Jet Li")
• Traded for a Jynx
  
• Released a shit ton of Pokemon (sadly including "Jet Lu") and tons of stuff happened on the PC, which include depositing and withdrawing items and Pokemon repeatedly.
• Obtained the Bike Voucher and got the Bike
• Charizard was released. RIP
• Poliswag was also released too. RIP
• And also a Kakuna too. RIP
• And... probably some more I missed.
• Magikarp as well. RIP

• Caught two Meowths and an Exeggcute, later released all three of them.
• Stream crashed at one point when Paras was battling one Pokemon (I guess)
• Paras evolved to Parasect.
• Caught another Meowth, a Doduo, a Horsea, another Pidgeotto and a Slowbro.

Darn it, I came back, and missed a lot of stuff:

• They finally managed to beat Blue.
• They also beat Dream Red (which is the infamous team from last year's Pokemon Red run).
• They also beat all the gym rematches. Here's a notable one which is battling the PC for the 8th gym rematch.
