He wrote his character sheet in pen.
his cleric/ranger moves at over 60 feet a round. (edit, I was confused by chris's shitty math. its 3,736 feet a round or 747 squares. minus 1 because speed is always in 5's)
we can't see his stats but it looks like he has 49 gold + all of that crap. I know 5th ed just hands over starting equipment for free but a 15th level character should have far more than that. I'm shocked he didn't have homebrew magic items listed.
a 24th level character!? no one's going to let that slide much less a broken Homebrew race like Sonichu where chris can change the stats and rules, plus that transformation mode he has.
2 swords and a hand cross bow. hand crossbows are garbage unless you're an assassin and he's not exactly built to fight something that needs to be smashed to bits. good luck fighting oozes or skeletons chris.

Is the absolute mad lad actually doing it? I wonder if he bought (online?) books and shit. That's a lot of info to absorb. He's clearly actually got some of it, although obviously it's lame and OP as shit and has his own inventions scattered around, which is sort of what I expected but it actually looks a little more D&Dish than I figured it would. I want to see the ability scores though.

"I did this on my own merit and skill" is a decent CWCism.

Is "feet per breath" a D&D thing I don't know about, or is that just Chris being Chris?
Its chris being chris. A 'round' in DnD is 6 seconds game time and its the usual standard for movements and actions. No idea where he's getting 'breathes.'

His character sheet states that he can Mega Evolve. I knew 5th Edition was skewing young, but damn...

Also I chuckled at Sonichu's background being listed as simply "Mix." Did he mean to write multi there?
in all the tally marks beside cleric he wrote 'Ranger' very very small. But I think he meant 'Mix' as in Human/Sonichu, like he was a dog breed. 'Background' is normally reserved for something like in-game Nationality.

just the fact that his character is so unbelievably fast just sucks all of the fun out of the game, never mind all the extra crap he gave his character.

he has Innate electric powers and speed that will be more than enough for those monsters. Unless the ooze or skeleton has an immunity to electricity then that may make things interesting.

Oh there are plenty of those, but kinda hard to deal with that when you're ambushed by a black jelly dropping out of a crack or you just run right into a gelatinous cube. Those things are transparent.

I just wish we could see his stats. I gotta see how chris stated himself.

a good dm would set Chris straight. Have an archmage cast slow on Chris‘s character and do all types of shit to him until Chris agrees to make a character that’s not a total Mary sue

a gelatanous cube is the perfect trap for Chris.

IF chris tried to bring this abomination into an AL game i would love to see the GM's face.

AL usually starts at level 1, and allows absolutely nothing that isn't in the official books, not even the released unearthed arcana materials. and usually most stores will have one or more AL groups, since its a good way to ease new players into playing. the highest our group has gotten in AL is 14, and that was because we played 2 campaigns back to back waiting for ToA to come out.

and him bringing this to a homebrew would end very badly. You're playing with the GM's own rules, and if you piss him off he will drop rocks on you repeatedly. though it would be amusing to see a ticked of GM sic a Tarrasque on chris.

I know nothing about DnD, so I don't know how he fucked up, but considering the fact that Chris is a fuckup, I definitely know he fucked something up. So would anyone mind explaining exactly what he fucked up and how badly he fucked it up?

Chris being chris, he went on a tangent about how many feet or kilometers for our forigen kiwis he "thinks" he can cover running in a single breath or at least will be able to after the merge. Because at present I'd be amazed of Chris could run for more than three seconds without gasping for air

When will Chris go to a LARP'ing event? There are a lot of aspects to it than just planning. Costuming, irl roleplay, fighting with foam bats. There could be some real history coming from Chris pulling something like this.

The point of the hobby is to sperg. It will be his kingdom.

LOL, Chris thinks he's neutral good. Sort of impressed he didn't just invent his own alignment as "Lawful Kind CPU Goddessness" or some shit.

Basically speaking, he's concocted a broken character that makes no sense and wouldn't pass muster in any campaign. He gave his character a bunch of abilities that don't exist in DnD, like the ability to Mega Evolve, and made them so that his character is ridiculously overpowered. Then he equipped it with gear that is useless for his primary class (cleric) and not very useful for his secondary class (ranger). Also, his listed speed makes no sense. One round in DnD lasts six in-game seconds, so he's claiming that his character can move 3700 feet in six seconds. I can't be assed to do the math to see if he's right, which I doubt, but it doesn't matter because only a really shitty DM would let a character like that exist.

I feel like LARPing would shatter whatever grasp of reality he still has. Wow these people actually see me using my powers?! I KNEW THEY WERE REAL!

Chris is more akin to undecided Neutral or chaotic Neutral in alignment. 'Good' is a mere escutcheon to him, a pretty badge to wear on your shirt. He's no hero. If his character was near death he'd throw puppies off a bridge to save himself.

and I did the math because I'm a nerd. 3,736 feet a round is 747 squares. However chris weirdly didn't round to the nearest 5 because speed is always measured in 5's. That's normal speed in a fight. I don;t know how 5th ed calculates run speed, but in 3rd and pathfinder it was x3 for running, so chris would go 11205 feet per round or 2241 squares per round running. The average character without armor does 30 feet (6 squares) a round and 90 feet (18 squares) a round running. A round is just 6 seconds of game time. Broken does not begin to describe it.

Also: no sign of skills, stats, or feats. What chris wrote down mostly was character fluff and that stupid transformation shit. Reading his equipment he can go into that super form whenever he wants. +5 to all stats? that is disgusting.

I haven’t played 5e, but I’ve played a lot of 3.5 and Pathfinder, so I can give you a summary to the best of my ability:

His speed is absurd. The average speed for a PC (Player Character) is 30 feet per round (or 30 feet in 6 seconds). Chris has his character moving 125x faster than that.

Sonichus aren’t in any rulebook and Chris isn’t proficient enough in D&D to homebrew a race. Most DMs wouldn’t allow it.

He seemed to multiclass in Cleric and Ranger. It’s a really odd mix that maybe a knowledgable player could make work? Rangers are notoriously bad and a Fighter archer achieves everything a ranger can but is actually useful. Maybe that changed in 5e, but I dunno.

Also, he’s starting off at level 24. If he wants to join a game, his character shouldn’t be a higher level than actual gods.

Finally, his transformations are beyond broken. Being able to casually activate an ability that gives you a +5 or a +10 bonus to everything is hideously overpowered. For context, everything in D&D is determined by a dice roll plus whatever bonuses you have. Let’s say that I have a +4 bonus to hit an enemy and roll a d20 (20 sided dice) and roll a 12 to hit. To hit the enemy I would need to roll above its AC (armor class) let’s say it’s 14. My dice roll alone would miss it, but if I add bonuses that would give me a 16, enough to hit the enemy. What Chris is doing is adding an extra +5 or +10 to any roll he wants, essentially making it impossible for him to fail unless he rolls a 1.

Tl;Dr
Chris can’t D&D.

Edit:
Cleared up a few things.

He combined two classes whoes purposes are pretty much polar opposites, at least for someone new to D&D. cleric is very much focused on supporting allies, with bonking enemies as your secondary duty. Ranger is very much focused on damage dealing with a few utility/healing spells if needed, along with some offensive spells. Ranger can do decent damage on its own (Colossus slayer+its multi attack) but it really works well if you take a few levels in rogue. (3d8+3d6 per round is nothign to sneeze at) So he's hamstrung himself and made up for it with silly homebrew stuff. If it wasnt for the fact that he doesn't read I'd suspect he just mashed Cadderly and Drizz't from R.A. Salvatores books together.

and it is possible to get his movement speed per round. the catch is it required building a character solely for the purpose of moving as fast as possible, you need a certain magic items to achieve the effect, levels in 3 different classes(none of which he took) and you aren't going to be doing anything per round but moving. the one i saw was a 20th level wood elf build with a max of 1040 feet per round.
