What intrigues me here is that since Uzume is/was a reality warper who couldnt control her powers due to being delusional... does this mean Chris thinks he can affect reality now?

Chris seems mad that he had to give him money and went though some humiliating stuff, but he's clung unto idea guy's garbage so much and for so long and celebrates the delusions brought on by the idea guy saga that it comes across as if he's grateful to have met Joshua Wise!
After all it was thanks to Joshua that now CWCville is real to Chris, and Chris thinks he has godpowers - so to Chris, Joshua must seem like a eye opening prophet. Just the fact that Chris allowed Joshua to come back into his life after he had been outed, and the fact that there's a new idea guy, makes me think that Chris would gladly accept Boyd and Wise with open arms if they communicated with him again.
Maybe Chris is like one of those battered wives in abusive relationships, but don't want to press charges because they "sTilL LovE hIM".

At this point, I don't even know if you can call what wise / boyd did to Chris extortion. They more or less got paid to role play / play with him. Yea, they made him do some horrible shit, shit they prolly didn't even have to do to get money out of him. Chris seemed to have absolutely loved the attention and the fact that people "believed" his bullshit. He's way out in left field, living in a made up world and desperately wants people to believe in his made up world.
On one hand I understand the decision to not release the blackmail videos that IGs had Chris make, since weens and madguys would just jerk off to them. But on the other hand, the fact that he considers this a positive part of his life, and the fact that he actually thanked IGs over Twitter, maybe releasing them would actually hammer home just how malevolent their influence has been. At least the one where he punched himself over and over again.
