why has Chris become pettier then normal today? I mean cole isn't that successful and Chris doesn't talk to him I mean I wouldn't try something like this unless I was attempting to start some shit.
Right, but the local convenience store clerk has it together better than chris, and on some level chris knows that. Rather than build himself up IRL, chris is just trying to effect reality by tearing cole down. It might just be an imaginary version of Cole in his delusions but that's all Chris can do, put pins in the voodoo doll and believe with all his heart that Cole feels a tingle. This is the extent of his control over his own life and the world.
