Twitter 5/25 - Chris and his new Sleeping Method - Healthy or Damaging? I’m not sure at this point.

  • Intermittent Denial of Service attack is causing downtime. Looks like a kiddie 5 min rental. Waiting on a response from upstream.

What Chris is describing in his usual rambling and exceptional ways is putting yourself into a trance through the use of self-hypnosis. It is actually a very interesting experience if you are at all susceptible to this kind of thing as you can pretty much feel the sensation of your body disappearing until what you are left with is the space in your own head. It can definitely enhance day dreaming, and it is very relaxing, but that's about it. His way of doing it to himself is just one of an almost infinite array of ways, yet it still goes back to basics with a countdown, hence the five layers of dreams that he's rambling about.
