I love how it's some sort of scheme, like we're holding Doopie hostage with blackmail or some bamboozle ray, but once she escapes, she'll come running back to Chris.

I'm hoping for some troll mind control device placed on Doopie's head that only Sonichu and the gang of darling lesbian trans-whatevers can destroy.
If so, I bet that when Chris gets to her, she turns into a Mary Lee Walsh lookalike, yells at him. and shatters his heart, leading up to a gory, badly-drawn fight scene culminating in Chris defeating Doopie's evil side and turning her back into her old self, after which they express their love for each other and the inevitable happens, or at the very least is implied.
