They're running news stories now about how the governor of Florida's an evil anti-speech tyrant for saying schools and universities can't teach critical race theory or push their political viewpoints on students or else they'll get defunded. He's as corrupt as any politician but it's still the sanest thing in the country right now coming out of its second or third insanest state.
The running argument against it on these sites is "not all opinions are equal/valid." That's genuinely fucking scary.

It's a repeat of the Rules for Radicals tactic of holding your enemies to both your own standards and their own while ignoring both when it's convenient. It stops working when they stop giving a shit.
It doesn't say anything like that, just holding them to their own rules. It's literally "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules." Just because some people are hypocrites doesn't mean the book actually says that. None of these current clowns have any grasp on these rules, frankly, completely lacking the sense of humor necessary for successful ridicule, the actual most important tactic in the book.

Assuming some one with half a brain is in charge of safety for the event Chicago was under a tornado watch from 1205pm to 700pm CDT (about 1 hour ago as of this post). Chicago was also/is under a servere thunderstorm warning, and had a tornado warning a few days ago.

It sounded like a prelude to suicide to me. It's supposed to be something that gives Floyd's family peace of mind.
He's basically going to be on the same wing as the pedos and the snitches. He'll be okay unless they "accidentally" put him with some schizo lifer like "accidentally" happened to Jeffrey Dahmer.
Despite the fact that he's lost everything, his job, 20 years of his life, his parents'll probably be dead by the time he gets out (no more "special hugs"), I doubt he's gonna log onto the hard mode minecraft server and try swimming in lava. He's been defiant to the end, fighting this at every turn. If he does commit suicide, I'd moreso believe it'd be the result of him being epstein'd than anything else.

Nobody said that. It doesn't really help your point when you need to strawman like this. First of all there was no direct connection between Floyds death and Chauvins actions, the most you can argue is that Chauvin maybe should have tried CPR but based on the coroner report that is unlikely to have prevented Floyds death.
The media pushed this hard as a race motivated killing when it was just a fat drug addict who finally bit the bullet after getting high, doing something stupid and needing to be forcibly restrained and brought in for the umpteenth time in his life. Floyd was a career criminal and he doesn't deserve to be killed for that but it was always going to be the inevitable end of his actions. In the end this is just Chauvin being a sacrifice to the mob. Just another datapoint of the long slow slide of western liberalism into complete relativism and anarchy as the progressives determine what the truth is for you.
That could be a funny movie, Sheniqua-Nado. They could have Eddie Griffin in Ian Zering role fighting the boon-nadoes.
Far as I know cops themselves are placed away from the general population and are given extra protection and oversight from guards if they aren't something like a cop killer. I doubt prison guards would give a shit about the political circus going on outside but then again Chauvin may be given worse treatment to save face with fucked up media attention.

Seriously though, I don't know who the fuck would actually continue working as a police officer in any of these cities, let alone who would endeavor to become a police officer at this point. Every call could mean your death, and if you survive whatever attacks you encounter that night and successfully defend yourself, you might be sent to prison until you're in your 60s for doing so. Not to mention how fucking brazen criminality has become since 2020. Violent crime is way up in most large cities, DA's won't prosecute more minor crimes, if you get put on chimpout duty you can rest assured the people hurling frozen piss bottles, fireworks and bricks at your head will never be charged by the DA.
A trend I've noticed recently is that on some bodycam footage of police use of force, now as soon as someone gets shot there will soon arrive a cavalcade of shrieking retards to berate you, even if you're attempting to render aid to the suspect or a fellow officer. These guys really have to feel like they're walking on fucking eggshells at this point. I don't know who gravitates toward that profession now but I'd imagine departments will be so desperate to hire warm bodies that they'll end up with a bunch of speds on the force which will then lead to even more shitty use-of-force scenarios, like the lady cop that accidentally shot a dude in his car. I look for that to continue.
I'd like to think most of the cops in major cities are either retiring early or dipping out to find a job in smaller cities where shit still makes sense and maybe the local government will be on their side, that seems to be the case in Portland, they had a shit-ton of officers quit the force or go into early retirement, most of them saying they are getting the fuck out of the city.
I hope they get exactly what they fucking asked for: less funds going to police, less cops in general, and rampant fucking unbridled crime. Even if they learn nothing [which is likely] I guess it'll be entertaining to watch. I just feel bad for all the people stuck in these warzones that didn't support or vote for this stupid shit.
