Sorry if someone already mentionned it but George Floyd statue in Brooklyn had been vandalized. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/george-floyd-statue-vandalized/ar-AALrGxc

Four unidentified individuals allegedly used black spray paint to deface the monument and cover the text on its pedestal at 3:40 a.m. on Thursday, just five days after it was unveiled.

On the statue’s pedestal, white spray paint was used to leave the stenciled mark of Patriot Front, deemed a "white nationalist hate group" by The Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks extremism in the United States.

After vandalizing the monument, the four men fled on foot, police said.
Just imagine if it was a bunch of Jussie Smolletts who vandalized that statue? No need to guess then the msm will quickly hide that detail.

Seriously though, I don't know who the fuck would actually continue working as a police officer in any of these cities, let alone who would endeavor to become a police officer at this point. Every call could mean your death, and if you survive whatever attacks you encounter that night and successfully defend yourself, you might be sent to prison until you're in your 60s for doing so. Not to mention how fucking brazen criminality has become since 2020. Violent crime is way up in most large cities, DA's won't prosecute more minor crimes, if you get put on chimpout duty you can rest assured the people hurling frozen piss bottles, fireworks and bricks at your head will never be charged by the DA.

A trend I've noticed recently is that on some bodycam footage of police use of force, now as soon as someone gets shot there will soon arrive a cavalcade of shrieking retards to berate you, even if you're attempting to render aid to the suspect or a fellow officer. These guys really have to feel like they're walking on fucking eggshells at this point. I don't know who gravitates toward that profession now but I'd imagine departments will be so desperate to hire warm bodies that they'll end up with a bunch of speds on the force which will then lead to even more shitty use-of-force scenarios, like the lady cop that accidentally shot a dude in his car. I look for that to continue.

I'd like to think most of the cops in major cities are either retiring early or dipping out to find a job in smaller cities where shit still makes sense and maybe the local government will be on their side, that seems to be the case in Portland, they had a shit-ton of officers quit the force or go into early retirement, most of them saying they are getting the fuck out of the city.

I hope they get exactly what they fucking asked for: less funds going to police, less cops in general, and rampant fucking unbridled crime. Even if they learn nothing [which is likely] I guess it'll be entertaining to watch. I just feel bad for all the people stuck in these warzones that didn't support or vote for this stupid shit.
All that’s left is to see if the citizens end up going at each other all over the city in the name of protecting themselves.

Worst case scenario is that things devolve into South Africa with almost nonexistent municipal cops, private security for those who can afford it and anarcho tyranny for everyone else. There's definite reform needed for cops, the most important of which would be meaningful consequences for lying on reports and an end to the wall of silence culture, but this constant antagonism and push for defunding, neutering, and abolishment isn't going to lead to anything but the opposite of effective law enforcement. Some people might actually think they want this out of accelerationism but that's always a monkey's paw sort of thing.

Whoa, I am watching the victim impact statement from the kid and she might be literally retarded.

The banana didn't fall far from the tree.
Its a nice lie though. If not for the big mean copper, my daddy would have taken me out and read me stories and bought me pretty dresses. Not the truth of my daddy would have sold me for a hit of the good stuff.

I don't think anyone WANTS this. They see the South Africa scenario (or Northern Ireland if the right groups respond to Antifa with something other than "let the leftist hub burn") as the consequence. If you're talking about the left, then the people pushing for it may just well be the ones with gated communities in the suburbs and the ones that can afford that private security.

People say edgy shit about accelerationism all the time and sometimes even do more than edgy shit in its name (Tarrant). The problem is once the shit hits the fan and things go to shit, people will just seek any strongman who can return things to a relative state of normalcy.

Then it's meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
I thought Biden was against Antifa too? iirc, neither side wants ANTIFA around. I don't think he's cool with them. He's probably saying he's cool with them and making them disappear in the background.
Thing is, the golem is unleashed and is mindlessly doing whatever it desires at this point. Some piss-weak statements of disapproval are not going to make it go away.

After last year's county fair got swarmed by trash causing it to close early, this year Indiana's Marion County Fair has nearly as much security as the courthouse where I live. Metal detectors, bag checks, doesn't that sound like fun for the whole family?

It occurred to me that they are treating everyone like a criminal, even at this innocent community event.

Is this where the whole country is headed? To prevent what BLM/Antifa/Whoever does we will have to frisk everyone that leaves their house?

I remember feeling like this after 9/11/2001 too. Patriot Act? DHS that was supposed to be temporary?

Meh. I'm going to go do some gardening and clear my head.
I haven't been to a county fair in years but I'd rather make my own funnel cake than go through all that security, and it will be interesting to see if the people in Marion county feel the same.

There's one journalist who might have to find a new job.

Black America’s new “hero” is a victim. George Floyd statues are springing up around the country, and many are wondering about the message they are sending to black communities. Are they merely memorializing the tragic death of a violent, drug-abusing criminal who died after the inexcusable behavior of an arresting officer? Or are they an attempt to create a new kind of ‘martyr’ meant to enshrine a religiose belief in omnipresent ‘structural racism’ with the aim of demoralizing and radicalizing black Americans?

Sports journalist Jason Whitlock is weighing in on the debate about the meaning of the George Floyd statues, which have new relevance after the sentencing of arresting officer Derek Chauvin to 22.5 years in prison for second-degree homicide.

“The deification of George Floyd harms black people and America,” Whitlock writes at The Blaze.

“The statues unveiled last week in Newark, New Jersey, and Brooklyn, New York, that memorialize the final nine minutes of George Floyd’s life denigrate and diminish the reputation of black men,” he continued. “George Floyd was a victim — of his drug addiction, self-destructive behavior, and Derek Chauvin’s misconduct.”

Whitlock argues that Floyd is not a role model for black people, or any Americans for that matter, regardless of the horrific incident that occurred shortly before his life ended. In addition to the physical distress of the arrest that was displayed in a shocking video, Floyd had consumed a lethal dose of fentanyl. Deifying the tragically flawed Floyd on a scale unseen since Martin Luther King sends the message there are not worthier heroes for young black people to emulate. It is damaging — whether social activists intend it to be or not.

“Floyd is not Jesus. He’s not Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, or Medgar Evers, black men who died tragically in service of promoting racial fairness,” Whitlock points out. “Floyd isn’t Crispus Attucks, the first man killed in America’s Revolutionary War. Floyd isn’t Emmett Till, an innocent victim of anti-black bigotry.”

“Floyd isn’t any of the black men I know who are terrific fathers, husbands, providers, and protectors. Floyd isn’t ‘Uncle Jimmy,’ my media sidekick, whose primary job is father to his young sons, James and Jamill,” he continued.

“George Floyd is a prop corporate media uses for attention, a pawn liberal politicians use to push policy, and a punching bag social activists use as a symbol to explain black people and promote themselves,” Whitlock lashed out. “A prop, a pawn, and a punching bag.”

Damn, he's getting IN on this.

Continued from the previous text above:

That is not the recipe for deification and statues. It's a recipe for the impugnment of the character, integrity, and reputation of black people.

The politicians, activists, celebrity influencers, and media personalities — the exploiters of George Floyd — are determined to transform an amateur porn star, violent criminal, and drug abuser into a national hero. They do so because they have no respect for black men or black people.

Yes, I'm talking about Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Shaun King, LeBron James, Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, Jemele Hill, Michael Eric Dyson, Al Sharpton, Joy Reid, Joe Scarborough, Chris Cuomo, Jack Dorsey, Colin Kaepernick, and the editors and writers at the New York Times, the Washington Post, Buzzfeed, and the Daily Beast.

The entire satanic cabal of cultural elites, both white and black, are using George Floyd and other forms of racial division to overthrow a flawed system of governance that has outperformed any other system ever invented.

The orchestrated destruction of the American black man is an orchestrated attack on America's moral conscience. The retelling of the black American journey as a narrative of victimhood rather than victory is the central strategy in painting the American experiment as a failure in need of a Marxist overhaul.

America's global elites prefer China and the Communist Chinese Party. That's why we're erecting statues honoring George Floyd's last nine minutes of life. That's why President Biden suggested Floyd's death was more meaningful than Dr. Martin Luther King's.

Biden and the elitist revolutionaries want us to believe that America's system of government denies black people agency. We're defenseless punching bags for Trump supporters, Proud Boys, conservative evangelicals, rural militias, Republicans, and every other group that doesn't pledge allegiance to the Democratic Party.

In their reimagining of our history, we have no accomplishments more compelling than our suffering. Our story isn't about what we've done or will do. It's about what has happened to us. We're an American tragedy.

George Floyd is relevant only because of the actions of Derek Chauvin, a white police officer. The new fixation on the "Tulsa Massacre" is a story about what happened to black people. The new Juneteenth national holiday is a story about what happened to black people.

No one who wants to promote a positive self-image and inspire young people to achieve would explain their journey the way black people are being coerced into explaining theirs.

It's offensive to build a statue celebrating a man whose most memorable accomplishment is having a policeman kneel on his neck and back for nine minutes. It's insane.

Let me use the story of LeBron James as an example. If LeBron wanted to inspire his own kids with a story about his basketball career, would he tell a story about what happened to him in the NBA Finals series against the Dallas Mavericks or what he did in the Finals series against the Golden State Warriors in 2016?

Would he paint himself as a panicked loser or a courageous champion?

How does the George Floyd statue paint black men? The statue in Newark has Floyd seated on a park bench wearing a "wifebeater" shirt. I'm shocked the sculptor didn't put a crack pipe in one hand and a 40-ounce of beer in the other.

The statues of Floyd need to be torn down immediately. They're racist.

They're designed to symbolize that America turns black men into lazy, criminal drug addicts. I reject that in the name of Frederick Douglass, Richard Allen, Booker T. Washington, Benjamin Banneker, George Washington Carver, Thurgood Marshall, Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson, Ben Carson, Nat Turner, and so many more. I reject it on behalf of my father, my brother, and so many of my friends.

As black men, we must put a stop to politicians, activists, and corporate media using us for an agenda that doesn't serve us. And those of you who love this country must join us in putting a stop to this exploitation and bigotry.

Elites denigrate black men as a means to tear down America. Elites finance, platform, and promote black degeneracy in music, movies, social media, podcasting, police interaction, etc., as a means to destroy America.

Challenging the left's systemic racism is the duty of every God-loving, patriotic American.

Bolded emphasis my own. I couldn't had said it better myself if I tried. Slight political pandering aside, I completely agree with him. :semperfidelis:

Shame that one, this would not gain much traction, two, if/when it DOES, this man (and likely the Blaze) will be raked to the coals.
