I'm interested in Watch Dogs Legion, from the get go. Something I never would've said about Ubi after first experiencing their games a few years back. Not even on the politics front, in general, they've improved. I wouldn't have called that then.

I predicted that we wouldn't see a full reversal of SJW shit until 2023. The reason being that they went all in on woke nonsense, and have seen that it doesn't sell, but games take a long time to make so it's going to take a while the already infected games released and the dev teams purged.

Looking at the recent based games, a Call of Duty game, which are constantly churning and take a few years each with studios leak frogging each other, and a mobile game I'm guessing was made fairly quick.

AAA have abandoned the left. It's just going to take a while for the disease to leave the body, so to speak.

Watchdogs 3 will come out, and it'll be as unironically woke as Watchdogs 2. Watchdogs 4 could already be in development, but assuming it's not, I fully expect it to be less woke, and have a look more in line with the original.

What I didn't expect of these AAA companies is how far they've gone in the other direction. I'd have guessed they'd go back to Russians and aliens as bad guys, but no. They're featuring commies as villains. It would be great if middle class 20 somethings communists in black hoods became the default villain of the 2020s.

In the context of BOPE and Brazil/South America I would imagine that the symbol is intended to be an amalgam of the many militant communist or socialist groups that have been around. The plot could be that they're doing a Castro/Guevara style uprising and they're starting in/with the favelas and they're of course supported financially by the drug trade.

Oh, I've literally only played one story mission so far. It's fun to just go find and explore past that.
