Not only that, what he says is completely right. The act of killing gay people is not homophobic. Maybe if you're killing them for being gay but the act itself? Nope. Does it make it something you should do? Nope. I don't see the inconsistency. Also I really dislike how "phobia" is abused to describe concepts that have nothing to do with fear. Habbo Hotel's raids were a glorious bit of idiocy where the entire internet united to piss off the mods of said game. The entire internet decided to fuck with them. It was fucking mesmerizing.

Everyone was in on it: 4chan, SomethingAwful, YTMND, you name it. Everyone showed up in a glorious lockdown attempt that was solely done to piss off the mods and admins. It focused primarily on establishing blockades around popular hangouts (the way Habbo was coded meant players could not walk through one another), while using black afro-clad, armani suit-wearing avatars, successfully locking down the entire site and forcing the admins to shut the fucking thing down until the chaos blew over. By all accounts, the raid lasted a week.

Do you know what the common thread was?

What started the Raids in the first place was the mods being self-appointed fun police and banning black avatars and acting like power-tripping assholes. You know, exactly like the current crop of entitled professionally-offended shit-for-brains we make fun of now.
