Something tells me this was supposed to stay a secret. Biden showed up over 2 hours late to a press conference, and only answered pre screened questions from pre-selected reporters. Something is up here

This goes beyond hubris to a sort of senility mixed with arrogance that beggars belief. IOW, welcome to Biden's first term. Not even Bush # 43 or Cheney thought this was a good idea.

At any rate, can't wait to see the tranny groundpounders unhook from their dilation stations on the drive to liberate Crimea. I mean, the US does not recognize Russia's right to the land, so it clearly falls into the "territorial integrity."

Also, will they bomb the just completed pipeline from Russia to Germany that circumvents Ukraine? Merkel told Biden to go to hell over that, so...now what? Will Germany support any military action here?

edit: Assuming it actually happens. What a mess.

Seems like an odd move if true. US and EU policy towards Ukraine has generally been to strengthen diplomatic ties without officially inducting them into the cool kids club, as this is the most prudent course geopolitically and economically. Making various deals and treaties to nudge the hohols into the Western orbit and warn Russia, but kerping those agreements ambiguous and loose enough to prevent the West from being obligated to rush to Ukrsine's defence.

NATO membership would obviously radically shift this policy, and it comes at a strange time considering the conflict has been pretty much cold for a while, excluding some sabre rattling. Either Zelensky is pulling a Saakashvili, or the Biden administration is looking to lock down the conflict indefinitely by using the N-card to dissuade Putin from any future shenanigans.
