It's a crime thriller staring Adam Sandler, Idina Menzel (Elsa from Frozen and Singer), Lakieth Stanfield, and Kevin Garnett. It's rumored that Martin Scorsese is Executive Producing it.

This actually looks pretty good. Looks like his best performance since Punch Drunk Love.


a24 is releasing it here in the states in December, going straight to Netflix outside of the US in 2020

The trailer didn't give away the entire plot, so that's good. Adam seems to be overacting a bit in some parts but at least it's not Adam Sandler as himself. Hopefully he does a good job because if the dude just put in the time and work he could be a great actor.

he's always overacted, even in his relatively few good films, like Punch Drunk Love (although it's downplayed alot in that movie)
I just want a good performance and at least a solid movie.

Good Time was basically a feature-length anxiety attack, and from what I've heard, this is basically that on cocaine. That and seeing Adam Sandler giving a shit again makes me interested.

And as a New Yorker, it's so jarring to see Mike Francesa swear.
