Keanu Reeves-he researches his roles, he's a nice person, and I think he may be better live onstage actually. I think he gives a genuinely good and realistic performance.

Zelda Rubenstein-She was the medium in The Poltergeist, and she went on to do several other films in the 80s. Most notably, she did the "taste the rainbow" voice overs for those 90s skittles commercials. She has this really nice voice, and a nice presence. And she had to deal with being discrimination as a little person.

Colin Baker, the 6th Doctor in Doctor Who. He was handed the role at a time when the entire universe was conspiring to fuck Doctor Who in the eye, was saddled with a certifyably insane John Nathen Turner who mandated he be dressed as a clown and that his persona be as unlikable and irritating as possible, all while he was handed some the worst sci fi scripts ever written and the head of Drama at the BBC was trying to kill the show and fire him, all while fucking Baker's ex wife. Since then he was periodically charged with being the worst doctor and being the reason the show was canceled.

Despite this however his genuinely awesome acting was still able to shine through even in the shittiest episodes. thus proving he was more than qualified for the role and given better circumstances could have risen to be one of the best regarded doctors, as evidenced by his brilliant performances on the BigFinish Doctor Who audio episodes which have helped restore his reputation.

Danny Trejo. Whenever he plays a villain I always find myself rooting for the bad guy even though I know he's going to die a spectacularly violent death. Off set he's been known to teach kids about the dangers of drugs and gangs and stuff like that, which is really cool of him. He's a badass dude who got away from his life of crime and started acting and now he's trying to get other hardass tattooed bad dudes to do the same.

Oh yeah, and he's also Machete.

i love the Back to the Future triology, and everyone's always discussing Chris Lloyd, MJF and the like, but nobody ever wants to talks about Thomas F. Wilson and the insane job he did. He had more roles in those movies than anyone. He played a young 50's bully, a pushy middle-aged, drunk driving businessman, a middle-aged ass-kissing auto detailer, an elderly, Delorian stealing curmudgeon, a sleazy, murderous middle-aged casino mogul, a futuristic, deranged cyborg bully, and a dangerously unhinged homicidal wild-west outlaw/gunfighter*. I wouldn't say that the guy carried the trilogy exactly, because everyone else was so good, but it definitely wouldn't have been the same without him.

*and somehow managed to make each of them into completely separate characters, despite being so close in temperament.

Shelley Duvall. Most people know her as Wendy in The Shining and hate her for it. She is funny-looking but she isn't THAT ugly like many people say. In terms of acting, she's actually pretty good. Her best role would definitely have to be as Millie Lammoreaux in 3 Women; she's eccentric, annoying, funny and surprisingly sympathetic in that film!

I think I saw Zelda Rubenstein in an episode of Star Trek Voyager. She was perfect in Poltergeist!

I think Judson Scott is just lovely, and he has such a nice voice, ahh fangirl moment! He played Joachim in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, but he didn't show up in the credits. He doesn't really get big roles, even though he has a extensive background in theater.

I'm actually a big fan of James Woods. Just something about that voice that always seems rational to me.

The problem I have with Keanu Reeves is that I know he can play charismatic roles but he just... doesn't.

Like he has played really happy characters that are full of energy before. Even in movies like Point Break there are scenes where he breaks the emotionless machine exterior he usually has, then there's Bill and Ted

Shelly Duvall is a very attractive woman. I think it's moreso because of how she resembled Olive Oyl from PopEye in the Shining. And how she was more or less a wailing damsel in distress in that movie.

Granted she wasn't that much better in the book so it's moreso Stephen King's fault.

He was alright in Videodrome. Which was more or less the Manchurian candidate with a satirical streak.

Paul Whitehouse: He's one of the best character actors I've ever seen and I'd love to have seen him do serious acting. Really saddens me to see him plug insurance these days... |:(

Pacino is considered a top actor but he doesn't even have a millionth of Paul's depth and range.

Molly Ringwald. That is all I'm going to say.

I've heard her album. She's a solid singer (and was considered for what was eventually Madonna's role in Dick Tracy).

Terrance Zdunich. Repo the Genetic Opera absolutely fascinated me when it came onto my radar a few years ago, and while I have yet to see all of The Devil's Carnival I'm impressed by what I have watched. He needs a hell of a lot more credit for how versatile and talented he is.

I LOVE TIm Curry, I'm thinking of watching Clue just because he is in it. I like seeing Clint Howard in things. Mark Hamill, he's even good in low quality B movies I've seen him in, like Laser Hawk and Guyver, and he's a great voice actor which, Yes, IS acting dammit!!! Christian Slater is kind of forgotten about now it seems, but I love him.

Rachel Weisz (Actress from the Mummy films). She's a top notch actress but is doomed to roles where she is the chick who runs around after the hero.
(And I have a massive tardcrush on her) *sigh*
