That Superbowl and this Superbowl, 49ers did the same thing to lose, not run the ball when they had great running game going on and back then, they had Frank Gore. Or at least run it, I remember Kap would run a lot back then. That is what Mahomes did in this Superbowl on a 4th down. Jimmy G got exposed on the national stage as a fraud who is not good at throwing, it was the same during the regular and the playoffs, its just his weapons and defense bailed him out.
