Bananas with just a bit of green on top are the best. I hate raw tomatoes too but I think you're missing out if you don't like a solid tomato sauce.
Raw tomatoes are great but no tomatoes you can buy in a grocery store are worth shit. They have been treated with a gas to make them turn red but they're unripe and have as much flavor as wax fruit. There is nothing better than a tomato straight from the garden still warm from the sun.
Yes, a little bit of green is neat too.
Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to try it. I'm very intimidated by tomatoes, because just biting into a whole raw tomato makes me throw up/retch right away.

Occasionally I can find hot house grown tomatoes at kroger that are really good year round. My costco also sells some called tomato bombs. Other than that other tomatoes not in season taste like nothing.
When I started shopping at the farmer's markets around my way I discovered all the super fucking weird heirloom tomato varieties that only small-timers and crunchy-granola hippies grow, and that turned me around a good ways. Lot of cool varieties that are more dense, more fleshy, less watery, generally cure a lot of the ills of the boring red grocery store tomato.
My favorite way to fix them up is probably still making bruschetta: deseed your tomatos, chop them up, mix them with a little chopped red onion and basil, toss with vinegar and oil, maybe some parmesan cheese, eat it on a slice of toast. Great veggie dish for a cookout with bread toasted on the grill.

I like caprese salad, which is fresh mozzarella, fresh tomato, and fresh basil drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Other ingredients are optional, like fresh ground pepper, honey, basil pesto, or pretty much anything compatible with the vibe. I also prefer to make a balsamic reduction until it's thick and gooey so it doesn't just all flow to the bottom.
You can arrange these or slice them any way you like for whatever appearance you want. It looks like the Italian flag because it has all its colors.
Mine never looks this good but it tastes fine. It's hard to make this look ugly
This also works great in sandwich form, sometimes with prosciutto.

- soda is disgusting. really disgusting. without the carbonation, people would realize that it's candy water and should be treated as such, not something you consume 12-24oz of a day. the only time it's not disgusting is when you walk 10 miles without any break and forget to bring water with you
- plain greek yoghurt complements black coffee really well. when i drink black coffee without anything else, it makes me kinda sick, but dairy products neutralize that, so i like to eat yoghurt then drink coffee right after. it neutralizes the weird pH imbalance
- salads taste great without toppings or condiments like ranch or croutons. i literally throw a cup of chopped up broccoli, spinach leaves, and kale leaves in a bowl and microwave that and that's my vegetables for the day. broccoli has a really pleasant, earthy flavor and texture
- if you get used to the acidity, orange peels aren't all that bad. they're annoying to chew down to digestible portions though

you have to admit, it sucks when you bite open an apple seed and the resulting taste is just really bitty and nasty. if it weren't for that, i'd eat the core

Cranberries are actually pretty awful. I don't see how anyone finds those logs of cranberry sauce that still hold the shape of the can appealing, at all. It looks like some kind of rubber stress toy.
Five guys is insanely overrated shake shack and others are much better and to that nigger that talked smack about pizza you are a niggerjew but aside from that soda drinks are plain awful aside from McDonald's coke ( which makes me wonder what they use for the ingredients to make it taste so good )

I think most burger joints are pretty shit, especially the more expensive they get. Once you start paying $25 on a meal the burgers start becoming about as well constructed as a house of straw. I don't think I've ever eaten a Five Guys burger that stayed in one piece all the way through.

Chicken salad is the best with fruit and nuts. I know some people have a mayonnaise aversion so "I really want a chicken salad sandwich right now" is its own unpopular opinion, but I find certain people get really weird when you combine sweet and savory flavors.
It's their water. Every McDonald's has some really intense water filtration system in it so the water is identical at all of them.

My parents are from the South so one of their favorite dishes is chicken salad. But I haven't tried it because it looked like cat food and it just happened I discovered Panera Bread had a chicken salad sandwich that included both grapes and almonds.
One day I'll purchase one but I most likely make a home made from one of the numerous recipes I found online. I might add different berries like strawberries or blue berries, and maybe have red onion.
