Wtf?? Snow White isn't a fairy tale from scandinavia. The dwarves come from the hessian version of Snow White. Also Scandinavians didn't invent dwarves.

So he was irritated that a disney cartoon movie for children about a german fairy tale was different from the scandinavian folklore he studied (which would mean he was a fucking idiot)??

Doubt.
"Scandinavian" was a poor choice of words. I mostly picked that because he drew upon Norse mythology when constructing Middle-Earth (most notably Gandalf), but he was also a scholar of European legends, so that was a mistake on my part. His big complaint, as was Lewis', was that the dwarves were too "vulgar," and Tolkien despised the film's art, calling it, "hopelessly corrupt."

Tolkien wrote some stuff on fairy tales, but Lewis was more, well, catholic on the subject. (Lewis liked Andersen; Tolkien didn't.)

-Legend if Korea is nearly as good as the TLA If not better
- Johnny Bravo kind of sucks.

Funnily enough, Tolkien and Lewis had issues with Disney for precisely the reasons you mentioned. They went to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and they were put off at how clean and sanitized Disney made the dwarves and the story at large. Tolkien was particularly irritated because he spent his life studying Scandinavian folklore and legends, and here's Disney popularizing a decidedly cleaner version of those stories. Lewis was more forgiving than Tolkien, praising the use of shadows and the terrifying bits, but even so they both shared opinions on how Disney treated the source material.
I think you can kind of see why: every story that the Disney entity adopts gets patched into this homogenized metafiction ("The Wonderful World of Disney") so the individual identities of the stories and those of their constituent characters become secondary to, say, having Captain Hook, Peg-Leg Pete and Cruella DeVille teaming up to enact sitcom-level plots against Mickey Mouse and co.

Tolkien also drew a great amount of inspiration from the myths and legends of Finland, which is its own (extremely complicated) ball of ethnolinguistic weirdness all together.

The Golden Era of kids cartoons is the 2000s, not the 90s, Yes the 90s started so many incredible shows that we all know and are obsessively nostalgic for these days. But early 2000s cartoons expanded on these trends set in 90s animation and fine tuned them massively with better animation, stories and more compelling characters. That’s just fact and 90s kids can bitch at me but I know this is just the truth.
I can't think of anything funnier than Animaniacs though. The 90s was cartoons and the early 2000s was anime.

Did I post about how Darkwing Duck, Talespin, and Gargoyles are more or less the only Disney Afternoon shows that aged well yet? Goof Troop only gets talked about on the net from the all porn with Pete's wife Peg, Bonkers was obviously "We wanted to do a Who Framed Roger Rabbit show but copyright ruined it", Gummi Tales was cute in that babby's first Disney way, I have to agree with Don Rosa finding Ducktales too nice compared with Barks' work (even if Launchpad and Gizmoduck were neat additions especially in Darkwing Duck).

Tolkien was a Crypto-Pagan. As befits a Catholic.

- Most Disney Channel animated shows are Trash
Gargoyles is still cool though right?

It's more that the Avatar brand by large is bad in the way something like RWBY is. Books 1-2 of TLA were only remotely not bad since they had notably different writers who could've reined in Bryke's suggestions. Book 3 was more strongly controlled by Bryke and it shows (Aang becomes far more insufferable and overall comes off as a predecessor to how Korra was written).

- Johnny Bravo kind of sucks.
I say that Johnny himself as designed by Van Partible kinda transcends his show. As in, he ended up becoming more interesting than the show itself, if that works. He'd do well if made for an animated miniseries exploring his childhood etc.

When I'm feeling like shit I like watching Family Guy. Sure, the show is total garbage, but is my trash. Sometimes I need to shut down my brain and Family Guy gives me the kicks to forget for 25 minutes about the shit that is happening in the world. Watching Peter being a total reetard comforts me in an weird way that I don't know and don't care, I just want to relax.
Family Guy is best when binge-watched after a shitty week at work, whilst eating a whole pizza and drinking a six-pack of mediocre beer. It's not the best way to unwind, but it's enough.

- My little Pony FIM Does deserve the love it gets and Is genuinely well written and animated, but the fan base of course are pretty fucking horrible and deserve most of the hate they receive, not all, but most
Say what you want about the fanbase and Tara Strong and you would be right, but the second I saw Lauran Faust's name, I knew that the show would be in good hands (even though she was on it for two seasons). Even though I went away from it after season 4 or so, MLP: FiM is a solid show.

Steven Universe not only failed as a show, but a basic Cartoon-Cartoon Cartoon Network show.
