Update subforum? -

I think it'd be a hell of a lot easier if we had an "update" subforum in Chris.

For people who can't be on the forums too often (like me, I kinda fall off the radar for a couple days), it'd be very convenient - they'd be able to see what they've missed without wading through all the speculation threads to find the news threads.

I'm not too fussed really, it'd just save me like 5 minutes

To me, it'll be confusing considering some threads may be suitable for BOTH the Updates subforum and the Chris forum.

I think this is probably a good reason why we don't have it. I know on PVCC discussion was never broken up like this, we just have one Chris forum and when Chris was producing content all the time, we'd just talk about the content, the idea about talking about Chris in general is mostly something that happened when he entered his lull period. I think that given that we usually don't get much nowadays, it seems silly to have an entire subforum for when Chris does and like Alan said, there's a lot of interconnections in topic themes.

I was thinking that it'd be nice to have: "Discussion", "Speculation", and "Artwork" forums to replace the two we do have. Any fan art or sonichu discussion would go in Artwork, any speculative discussions in Speculation, and any discussions or updates would go in the regular Discussion board. The problem is that most discussion is speculation. Artwork would still be good, though.

Okay a subforum would be too much, but I still want somethig convenient cuz I'm a lazy bastard. I would suggest a thread where no discussion is allowed (i.e. it's just an update thread) but derailment is inevitable here and no sperg would want to keep updating the thread .

I don't think updates are frequent enough. Besides, most of the "big" stuff recently is older stuff.
