I think the worst part of the new nerd culture is seeing people from high school post about how much they love nerdy stuff on social media when you know they don't. For instance, around this time of year, I get irrationally angry seeing people that used to make fun of me for liking spooky weird shit posting on Facebook about "omg i love halloween!!! Nightmare Before Christmas is my FAVORITE movie and ALWAYS has been! Tim Burton is like the besssssst". The same thing's happened with Harry Potter and Star Wars, too.

I think part of the outrage against fake nerds is that it feels like that thing you really liked that no one else did is cheapened once it gets popular, and now you're not special for liking a thing. Which is kind of stupid, obviously, but that's human nature, I guess. We like our autism to be UNIQUE, goddammit.

It's sorta that and a little of resentment, how these people picked on you for your interests only for them years later going crazy over the same movie/show. It just feels phony, like they're just liking it because it's popular and they're riding the bandwagon; since you know they're not gonna come back and apologize for being a dick to you or even bond with you for it. Ah well.

What a dumb bitch. Look guys, if you really want free shit in a game that badly, you don't do this. You never sleep with the guy or give him nudes. Find a leech on your server that's desperate for any contact with a girl. You'll usually see him aggressively flirting in chat with anyone he thinks might be a female. There's plenty. Don't go after anyone who seems like a decent, normal guy who simply has poor social skills. That's mean and you don't want to hurt someone that's actually trying to be nice. In fact, if you find one of these, you be kind to him! And don't take any of their stuff! Maybe even try and have a heart to heart with them about not trying to find an e-girlfriend by flirting with random (assumed) women in a game. Go after a real annoying, sexually aggressive guy. Make sure he lives far away. You never flirt back either. You wanna make sure this guy is actually a douchebag. It's very easy to tell the difference.

Just let him act like a jackass and say gross shit. Laugh and respond in a neutral fashion. Any guy who keeps it up with that kind of response is a moron. Don't send pictures of yourself. These types are real dumb. Find random pictures of cam girls to send if they ask for a picture. These types are too stupid and too busy jerking off to actually look into it. Put up with it for a few days. He'll give you anything you want in hopes that at some point you might give him titty pictures.

Personally, I prefer to grind for my own gold because I enjoy farming and doing professions. But if one of these types happens to fall in my lap because a feminine character name triggered their dick and led them into my whispers, you're damn right I'm gonna take whatever they throw at me. It's effortless. You just have to put up with whispers that are akin to PornHub comment sections. Which can be hilarious. Men can do this too.
