A simple query for "theme" on this subforum makes it clear that every time a special theme is temporarily implemented, people ask to make it permanent afterwards. I don't believe any of these gimmick themes have ever become permanent options, but allowing people to continue using them could work as a supporter perk or some other incentive to donate to the forums while not costing normal users any functionality.
