I really don't think they would finish the game to spite, like when GVH parody came out. All the devs did was seeth was rage and use the "imagine being" meme on ResetEra, they seriously didn't make any announcements about the project progressing or something. So, I imagine the same being with ValiDate, the devs with seeth with enough rage to be used as a grill, but they sure as fuck aren't gonna finish their game.

I think it would be impossible to make a "better validate" because the premise is flawed from the start. Once you take away the ambiguous brown fat people the game has literally nothing else going for it. There's no plot, no real goals, nothing. From what we've seen you're more likely to be told "assuming gender bad" in a route than actually date one of these characters.

This game would just have slightly more going for it if it was more focused on characters from different cultures with their own unique traditions and such but Validate isn't going for that. It just slaps labels on their characters and then called it a day. There is literally no appeal lmao

I was curious the other day and wondered, what ever happened to that crowd funded degenerate tranny furry dating sim? After KF got moderately unfucked after the DDoS, I decided to check it out. I was not disappointed. There's been barely any progress since my last post. I discovered this thread almost a year ago, judging by my last post.

I am left wondering. How in the sweet love of Jesus tap dancing Christ are they not done with this yet!?!? The thread started in May of 2020. So one would assume that the game would have been started shortly before that. This isn't the next Elder Scrolls. It's a shitty dating sim for chicks with dicks. I am by no means a programmer or game designer but I pretty sure I could crank out a halfway functional dating sim in a month or two.

So this makes me think:
A. The devs are completely incompetent
B. There is excessive infighting and drama as normally follows troons.
C. They are trying to grift more money out of people who don't have money because they don't work and spend all their money on HRT.
D. All of the above

That said, a well crafted VN could take years of writing, but I doubt that's what's slowing them down.

To give the benefit of the doubt, I at least think Dani didn't go into this planning to scam anyone. After all, she was able to make it from the drawing board to implementing routes into the game, albeit very few routes, and have art for the game, albeit very bad art. It looked like this was something she set out to accomplish in the beginning.

However, whether it's an unfortunate (or fortunate) burnout or a brew created from a mix of the multiple-choice quiz provided by Jeff, it seems ValiDate has a fair chance of never seeing a proper release.

They boast a new artist who will keep the game's artstyle consistent, but the writing is still far from even being close to that of a 5th-grader's essay.

Not to mention the game's focus on hyper-inclusivity and acceptance will naturally lead to its inevitable demise, should it see a full release.

plus seeing the devs assmad and le artsy change when that happens IS funny. you can literally look at that as some sort of cartoon depiction of a stereotype (forgot the shorter word for that) but they can't see it because Holier-Than-Thou wokeism.
if cavemanon managed to adapt his snootgame to make a ValiDate version if it the kek factor would be lost.
