As for Vaush, yeah, his channel is on a serious decline, once you enter the less the 100K views on a video and can't get back up, it means your 15 minutes are up and time to find something else...

But I don't know how well his twitch is doing? I mean, Vaush was nenver much of a YT guy anyway, so how's the pig situation on his twitch, if fucking DSP can coast by, I don't see Vaush can't keep the grift a little longer.

Vaush and Destiny have the same # of subs on YT, but Destiny does consistently better (most videos are over 90k views, rarely has had a video under 60k views). Meanwhile Vaush struggles to hit 100k for most of his videos other than the one-off dramamongering videos like the Crowder shit (which likely end up on YT's autoplay).

What is even more odd is that most of Destiny's content is long-form (1+ hours) yet Vaush struggles to hit 100k on 10 minute videos.

Like Patreon I think there's a lot of people who sub/donate/follow just on principle and never actually watch the content. They don't follow Vaush because he makes good content, they follow because he has positioned himself as taking down the Right, like Contrapoints. But his followers do it as a gesture, he does not make compelling content, and he is not actually funny. What he doesn't want to admit to himself is a lot of people are there for his sexual deviancy, not his politics.

In Sargon's (tepid) defense, his main channel has been suppressed to the highest extent youtube can manage it without wiping him off the platform. The main accumulation of subs from that account also came between roughly 2014 and 2017, peaking in between 2015 and 2016. Since then, he's had a very lolcow worthy career (failed political bid, ibs, the Carl from Applebee's saga etc.), but of the gamer gate era, he's probably done the best out of all his contemporaries. When he does stream on his main channel, it gets relatively good engagement, and his Podcast of the Lotus (or Tide Pod) eaters is growing, and seems to have an engaged fan base as evidenced by the viewer contribution segment on which their show ends with everyday.

Idk if Vaush could do a show like that, especially off the platform of YouTube, since most of his viewers don't come to him for news like Don Sargone's do, instead they come for drama/personality bashing etc.

Destiny seemed to have cultivated a following built on him actually engaging with good faith on divisive topics, albeit from an unabashedly leftist position. On political topics, Vaush bombastically spews the same tired talking points and touts his moral supremacy.

Vaush can't even call himself a political YouTuber or streamer when all his audiance comes to him for is to see strawmen of their political opponents be dragged in the most petty of ways.

This. Vaush both came onto the scene, and will depart it as a culture warrior who just chose to engage directly with the subjects of Breadtube video essayists. Destiny was doing more or less the same thing, altho he engaged more civilly and less autistically than Vaush who treated debates like struggle sessions. Vaush also benefited from a climate in which YouTube was scrambling to clean up the political sphere, as the legacy media was at their throats, blaming them for Trump. Vaush was boosted intially as a result of this, and was able to screech at his opponents who were mostly all bound by restrictive TOS.

We're about 6 months into Bidens administration, and it seems like Vaush's relevance is waning harsh. I think a better comparison for him would be Warski over Sargon. Andy was able to surf his moment, but when its all built on hype and not substance, it all comes crashing down eventually.

You also have to remember that Vaush's editor uploads 2 videos a day while Destiny's editor uploads 1. If you combine the views of Vaush's videos, they're higher than Destiny's. I do have two thoughts against it. First, how many times have we not seen people rise really quickly to just stagger? His potential is dependent on if this left-wing internet thing is a trend, fad, or something more long-lasting. Second, potential shouldn't just be measure in growth but also staying power. We are already seeing weakness in Vaush ability to stay relevant.
