I mean, Portuguese, Spanish, and under some definitions French speaking countries are all "Latin American," because they're Romance languages. So why not Romanians too?

I actually like listening to his voice, its relaxing, though maybe I'm biased because he has very typical Romanian mannerisms of speech. Plus as has been mentioned earlier almost no one ever talks about Eastern European news, let alone what's happening in Romania.

tbh I wish it were just so I could get free gibz to college, apparently the term comes as a shorthand from when the French/Spanish/Dutch were fighting over colonies in the New World, and since Spain won out the term gradually came to be synonymous with Hispanic, for the most part (most people would not consider Brazilians to be latinos, for instance). Semantically speaking technically Romanians French Italians Portugese and Spanish are all Latinos, but common usage frequently doesn't follow technicalities.

Both of them predictably got stuck in their little autism holes from time to time, but what struck me is how removing Sargon from the conversation just made it possible for two people with fairly opposite worldviews to just have a conversation about why they think different things and who might be right about it. Nothing degenerated into yelling or insults even when things got a little confrontational.
Vee even avoided talking about what Sargon thinks during the brief time it was raised. Has he thrown off his milk fed shackles?

I think Vee wants whatever add revenues and anything else that prevents him from actually getting a real job to continue. Sargon losing his monitization, meant the next likely targets were going to be the capos and since Vee is head capo, it makes sense he'd try to create some distance.
So Vee always talks about medical school and has mentioned working as a doctor in state-run hospitals. Now he always talks about law school. Do we have any information about why he left the medical field? Was it just hard to tolerate working in a depressing government hospital, or did he commit a medical error that got his license revoked? Or is it because he's friends with Sargoy?
Veeh has the strench of the person who will artificially prolong their studies in order to bolster their 'credentials' in perpetuity without ever having the discipline to commit to a career until its too late and they are 10 yrs older and slower than the rest of their peer group. University is like a playpen for individuals who refuse to mature or take on real responsibility, and in Romania it has to be cheap too.

No, he's been talking about all of that for at least five years. IIRC all of his life decisions are fueled by his distaste for Romanian Government Regulations that made it difficult for him to make money in a chosen field (at least according to him).

I think it went: lawyer -> couldn't get work with a good firm -> wanted to try private practice -> Romanian gov't stomps on small business? -> Med School -> NEETbux
But I might have been trying not to listen to his voice so I could have that all wrong.

Not in defense of Vee but I can see a certain basis of logic from his point of view, if what he is saying is true.
In Romania after being brought into the EU they saw a huge increase in inflation on consumer price goods almost 75% in some cases, while the wages have remained effectively stagnant and the social services which had been strip mined during the Ceausescu and due to bureacratic corruption endemic in the system since the fall of communism hasn't really recovered. Most if all of the state pensions and private pensions, in the sense of actually having a pension/savings pretty much didn't convert well over to the euro system of banking.
What this means is that for a Romanian who has family (older parents, etc) to support, it is easier to go to the UK or Germany and work in a menial job that pays better than what they'd be able to get back in Romania.
I know two Romanians who had a stable income in Romania. One was a computer hardware engineer, the other had a degree in psychology, they moved to the UK to live with relatives work and save, after two years of working in a cafe they've bought a country house back in Romania, alongside a flat in a cheap part of Bucharest, and are supporting their parents as well.
While Vee most assuredly is a lazy slob, he's found the golden medium by making neetbux and having internet pay pigs. While it might be Jarbo levels of money to anyone else, in Romania that's actually comparable to a good living in Romania. especially if he lives outside of Bucharest.
