Without going into a huge sperg about how immigration into US works based on what situation, and I admit I am heavily biased in this area because this information is what I hear/compare from colleagues who work in immigration law, it is generally MUCH easier for a young European female to get into US on a bullshit scheme and be fast tracked into a green card than it is for say, a Hispanic who was possibly even born in a border city and has been living in the US for many years.

A good lawyer can absolutely advise and guide their client on the best ways to navigate the US system.

Venus' youtube channel at one stage had a bigname management company based in the US. Venus either has paper proof, or has significant funds left over, to afford or secure funding backup for her (terribly managed) startup.

Marge hit, verbally abused, starved and threatened Venus. Some of this was caught/corroborated on camera. She tried to whore Venus out and eventually sold/married her off to Manaki, the highest bidder at the time. That is sex trafficking and absolutely domestic violence.

Girls who live in relative affluence and ease in countries such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia regularly make 24 hr window gambits to apply for humanitarian visa status in the US.

Migrating into the US is absolutely most about how competent your immigration lawyer is, not about how much of a worthless lolcow Venus is devolving to be in the public's eyes or how bad the people already living in the US have it.
These immigration people you know aren't anymore knowledgeable than the people who gave you information about how the US healthcare insurance system functions.

Do you see how ridiculous comparing women getting humanitarian visa by escaping Qatar and Saudi Arabia, countries with well know political systems that oppress and subjugate women to the extreme, with an adult EU passport holder with a crazy mom? Humanitarian visas apply to people escaping countries who’s legal systems offer them no protection from abuse or the laws of the country itself qualifies as systematic oppression and abuse.

Even if she had some viable sob story in US immigration’s eyes (she doesn’t) they’d tell her to go back to Europe. There’s a perfectly fine functioning legal system there that well protects women from abuse, unlike Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

European women who get shady “fast tracked” in immigration either have marriage visas or a shady “modeling” agency (aka pimps) paying for H1b visas. (Im speaking of shady stuff, plenty of European women receive legit H1B visas for scientific or corporate work. But the most common way a European woman immigrates to the USA is via marriage to a American citizen.)

Venus does not currently have any American based management and therefore could not be sponsored for H1B anyway.

What you “hear” from colleagues “in immigration” isn’t very good info, seems antidotal and has given you a very wrong impression on most matters when it comes to legal immigration here. There are plenty of very shady ways to try to subvert the immigration system but they usually leave women at the mercy of their “sponsor” paying off big debts to them for years. I doubt Venus has any interest in indentured servitude at a nail salon, restaurant or massage parlor for a temp work visa.

If it worked this way, ever Mexican trying to get into the States would just say their mom slapped them around and they'd get in ez-pz. Venus was abused, but she wasn't abused to the extent or in the places that would qualify her for a humanitarian visa. Having your horrible mom make you produce pedobait content for YouTube and giving you an eating disorder isn't nearly on par with a 12 year old Afghani girl being married to an old man, or an Indian girl being forced into child prostitution. And even if it is? Venus is like 22 now. Her mother doesn't even live in the same country as her. It isn't even remotely applicable.

Whether you like it or not, Venus has the capacity to prove she has been a successful online enterpreneur, who has a reasonable fear for her health and safety should she go to Switzerland. These factors are worth discussing with a migration law specialist in assessing her eligibility.

She is not going to drunkenly livestream her "sob story" to immigration officials, she would be retaining a specialist lawyer who would advise on the visa stream most viable for her, or liaise with her former management company or seek out a new management company to see through the sponsorship process if necessary.

No, they aren't going to tell her to go back to "Europe". If they do not find her paperwork satisfactory, they will tell her lawyer to amend the paperwork and reapply.

Venus would have had to pay her own way in private health insurance or paid out of pocket. Her medical expenses and insurance premiums would be on par with whatever she can get in US. Switzerland has a compulsory private health insurance system that she has to pay into, so it isn't like she can just fly back to Switzerland and expect to be taken care of.

The only country she can migrate to and expect a simultaneous reduction in insurance premiums *and* increase in quality of care is probably Taiwan.

Yes, they are able to, provided they have a lawyer who can submit the evidence. Remember how the "leftist media" howled about brown women and children being deported back to their abusers because that was not supposed to happen?

The law doesn't care if you guys think Venus had it easy compared to actually systematically oppressed people who got really rape-raped, or if you think abuse becomes irrelevant once the victim attains the age of majority. Humanitarian visas are not graded on a bell curve.

You seem insanely invested in this idea that Venus is still a little girl being exploited by her mother. She's a 22 year old woman who is completely estranged from her mother, and neither has the want or the need to seek sanctuary in America. She suffers absolutely no human right violations in her current home country of Japan, where she resides legally and in apparent comfort. This is honestly the goofiest argument I've seen on this particular thread in a while, and it's had some doozies.

Lemme stop you right there. Venus herself admitted she was smitten with Manaki (even in that drunk video she made slandering him as revenge for divorcing her), voluntarily went back to him and lived with him for three more years. How the fuck is that sex trafficking? Like I get that her childhood was shitty but this is an insult to any woman who legitimately went through something that awful.

I also don't get why so many people want her to move to the USA. She has even less of a reason to go there than stay in Japan. She has no real sense of home, so the only reason why she should leave in the first place is because she obviously needs help and can't seem to get it where she's at. Moving to a place with equally shitty (mental) health care is completely pointless.

Japan is just like any other country and if you're not willing to work towards getting better, it's not happening regardless of where you are. You'll be just as miserable elsewhere. That's why I can understand those who want her to stay. On the other hand however, I don't see the point of wanting to stay in Fantasyland and ending up just like every other washed up white weaboo who thought they would become a successful model just by being white.

You have absolutely no clue to what you are rambling on about in regards to American immigration or healthcare, but yet keep on digging the hole deeper with every nonsense post.

I love how all of you are so :optimistic::optimistic: that Venus could make it out of Japan to anywhere. It doesn’t matter if she could or what immigration laws are blah, blah. Or her crazy ass mom.
She appears to be busy self destructing.
Nobody is optimistic or whatever. I am simply stating that migrating to the US is viable for Venus, and in some ways, ironically more viable than her ability to become a naturalized citizen of Japan.

If Venus is able to seriously revive her "brand", it would make business sense to aim for the US, where the majority of her fanbase and potential market is.

Her mental illness will remain untreated no matter where she goes in the world. Currently there is no consensus on recommended treatment for BPD.

You have absolutely no clue to what you are rambling on about in regards to American immigration or healthcare, but yet keep on digging the hole deeper with every nonsense post.
Says the one sprouting nonsense about being "deported to Europe" because Switzerland is totally an EU nation, and acting like the US is somehow special when both Switzerland and Japan are compulsory private insurance mandated nations, lol, k.

Venus would be sponsored for a J-1 "working holiday" visa, not a H-1B "skilled worker" visa, and no, a J-1 does not doom someone to a life of nannying or nail salons, wtf.

Some kind of weird ass fanfiction
Look, the reality is that in common practice, the US has not set definitions on what constitutes "urgent humanitarian reasons" that create eligible circumstances for a humanitarian visa. They are decided on a case by case basis by the assigned UCIS officer.

The US accepts thousands of humanitarian visa applications that can be summarized as "Australia wants to send us to Nauru for offshore processing". - in other words, Australia already determined for whatever reason they do not have urgent humanitarian reasons.

If you feel the need to protect your country from the Venuses of the world, be the change you want to see, apply to be a UCIS officer instead of kvetching on kiwi farms.

No, there is plenty of consensus: the best treatment of BPD is long term therapy. The lack of consensus is what therapy is the most effective, but any long term therapy (DBT, Schema Therapy etc) is considered the best treatment. It needs to be long term as short term treatments like counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy can trigger the feeling of rejection and abandonment in patients as they are let go after a couple of months max.

However, due to how difficult it can be to diagnose and manage BPD patients, many services end up leaving them without help until they become a danger to themselves. At that point, its harder to deal with as there are multitudes of trust issues; imagine you're mentally ill but no one thinks you're sick enough to need help? Or, people have told you that you're not sick enough and you believe them, so don't seek out help from others. Either way, you're leaving someone with a high risk of suicide on their own to face the world and these issues happen everywhere, so it doesn't matter where Venus moves to.

The only way she will get better is to first accept she is unwell and needs help, then to push for the help she needs. Self education on your diagnosis is a brilliant thing, and looking at the actual laws around what treatment you are entitled to. I can't speak for Japan, but here in Britland we have NICE, who provide guidelines on how to treat pretty much any medical condition from diagnosis onward. I believe i posted this already somewhere, but NICE's BPD guidelines specifically state that no service should reject someone from treatment because of their diagnosis of BPD. This is because many consider the self harm and dangerous behaviour in the condition to just be attention seeking, and ignoring them will make them stop, but it will most of the time make the person feel worse and lead them to self injure more. You need to treat their injuries and refer them to psych services (which they should already be under) and resist the urge to tell them how they're wasting your time by being there and they should stop acting like little shits by constantly turning up sliced up like a cheeseboard. It won't help, even if you think it's tough love, they'll be back the next day after doing something 10x worse because they feel rejected by people they're reaching out for help from.

Therapy is the only way to make someone stop those behaviours- they need to be taught how to manage their emotional outbursts without hurting themselves or doing stupid shit like binge drinking or using drugs, as it may help them feel better in the short term but in the long term it won't do anything but make them worse. This applies especially to Venus, she is impulsively doing stuff like drinking then drunk ranting about her feelings on social media as it's likely the only way she knows to get people to listen to her. Her mother's abuse likely means she never learned how to regulate her own emotions healthily and never had anyone to talk to when she felt like shit as she was alienated from everyone through moving to another country every 5 minutes.

She needs a supportive group of friends and a reliable therapist, whether she can get that in Japan or not, who knows?

If Venus wanted to leave Japan, I think a European country would be a good choice, BUT it would have to be in central or eastern Europe. Bonus points for Slavic countries, because Margo doesn't have language skills to navigate those, they're cheap enough for Venus to rely on her YT channel (if she'd be bothered to put some effort in) and insurance covers more than USA. Finding a therapist who speaks English could take a while, but it's not impossible. Plus, as I said, it's a lot cheaper than Japan, Switzerland or USA/Canada. Disadvantage is it would be hard for her to navigate through a country that doesn't have many English speakers, but she could get some more cool points for learning a different language. (I'm only 30%-40% serious, but 60% serious if her main issue was money.)

1. The US is far more likely to be convinced to accept Venus as a businessowner based on her Youtube influencer bucks than Japan.

2. The US issues visa quotas favouring corporate sponsored positions. Assuming her agency has not dropped her, either her agency or Google can fast track the visa process.

3. It is very cheap to run a small business in the US compared to many other countries, and as a business owner Venus would have much better negotiating power of her health insurance than as an individual.
Again: Venus Palermo is not a “business owner” and there is no “Youtube influencer bucks“ or a business to “run.” You’re drinking the Venus kool-aid if you really believe any of this nonsense. Nor does she have a real “agency.” And I’m sure her prior management, Fullscreen, would be happy to share how she abandoned her channel and let it die in 2018, and her current “manager” has some stories to tell about his client showing up to events hung over and proceeding to get embarrassingly drunk at the events, as well as the videos she promised people and flaked out on. The girl is an irresponsible basket case and has been for years.

Again with the kool-aid. The “successful entrepreneur” in the past was her nutcase leeching momager. Venus was merely the hired help, the performing monkey that her mother paraded all over the world as her very own circus act. Venus is incapable of sustaining any kind of career on her own and has repeatedly proven that fact since leaving her mother. And she is currently on another one of her multi-day benders, this time apparently reduced to drinking cooking wine (since cheap convenience-store wine or vodka in a can seems to be beyond her budget these days.) I doubt she’d be capable of going out and securing an immigration lawyer even if she wanted to emigrate to the US, which I also doubt. She can’t get it together long enough to make a 5 minute video or even shower and put on clean clothes.

And you know she’s on a bender drinking cooking wine, how now? And her mom being the one behind the business. Bitch, Please.

If that was true Marge could have her own successful channel instead of making videos of washing her clothes in leg hair residue and advertising her happy endings massage parlor.

Post your sources, where are you getting this from? Those are some big assumptions if you have none, are you just interpreting her insta stories and livestreams? Or have you got actual evidence?

There's a big difference between abandoning your channel and not posting because you're sick. The girl is obviously mentally ill, it's not rocket science. You're making her sound lazy and unreliable when it more looks like she's suffering from untreated mental illness. She could turn that around into a redemption story if she got treated honestly, people love a mental health recovery story on YouTube these days.
