Sister services, email, and search will continue to be negatively effected by the attacks. I made a thread to talk about it, if you're into networking.
In recent years, remakes of games have become more populare than ever. We have seen remakes of classics such as Spyro, crash bandicatoo and more. This have sold very well.
We have also seen remakes that have not been made with love or have just been a cashgrab. Flashback a few years ago was one of them.
This year, there have come out two remakes of games that I am found of: Mafia and XIII. Both games came out in the early 00s, got solid reviews etc. Both of them had loyal cult following and there was a hype to see a remake of either of them.
However, here is where the simillarety stops. Mafia remake while not a perfect remake, was made with care and love. Instead of doing a frame by frame remake, they expanded and put their own spin on it. Put into the money and time to re record the script with new voice actor (some that I like, some that I don't). They manged to keep some of the charm of the original game. Point is, it was not a shitjob they did.
XIII on the other hand, is a like the hinderburgen of gaming.
Released just a few days ago and already have an awful user score raiting on Steam user reviews.
"väldigt negativa" means highly negative.
Not only is the "remake" full of bugs, glithes and other game breaking stuff, it manged to lose all the charm of the orginal game. The uniqe look of the first game is gone and all the "improvmenet" have made the game worse in every way.
It is a game made with no love, no talent and no money. Even worse, it could make people avoide the orginal game.
So here is what we have. two remakes. One is pretty good and the other one is the worse thing since the Münch massarce.
Anyone have other examples to share?
